DISCOVER THE FAR NORTH REGION OF CAMEROON. DAY 1: DOUALA - MAROUA Arrival at the Douala International Airport and reception by the Global Bush representative. Transfer to hotel, dinner and night. DAY 02: MAROUA - MAGA – POUSS –MAROUA Breakfast. Departure for Maroua by air. Upon arrival visit the different craftsmen neighborhoods: the leather tanners’ and leatherworkers’ quarter, blacksmiths quarter, and the local craft market. Continue to Maga and walk along Lake Maga: this artificial lake helps to irrigate numerous rice fields and constitutes a natural boundary between Cameroon and Chad; beautiful captivating views. Then to the fishermen market, from where you can have a look at Chad. Continuation to Pouss and visit to the Mousgoum huts; the mud huts are original from the architecture and their functions… lunch, visit the Pouss Lamidat in the afternoon, centre of local culture; return to Maroua. Leisure activities. Dinner and night at Safari Dannay. DAY 03: MAROUA – MOKOLO – MARCHÉ – TREKKING. Breakfast, departure to Mokolo. Visit to the weekly market (true ethnic groups melting pot, where you can find all the tribes of Mount Mandara), later in the afternoon lunch, continue to visit the Lamidate and Museum. Dinner and accommodation at the Mokolo camp, (Bungalow). DAY 04: MOKOLO – TOUROU – RHUMSIKI. After breakfast drive to Tourou, discover the famous market (the Goudour women with calabashes on the head, of which the color and the drawing of their " hat " indicate if they are yes or non brides), small KIRDI village, of GOUDOUMS and MOKTE (celebrates by this border, picturesque market that holds every thursday and the women covered of calabashes come assembled. Continue to Rhumsiki dinner and night at Rhumsiki lodge. DAY 05: RHUMSIKI- TREKKING. After breakfast, tour the Rhumsiki village, this “small village” situated at the centre of Kapsiki and its volcanic peaks from nowhere, illuminating the region with their beauty are some of the tourist attractions to discover. Lunch, visit will be made pleasant by the discovery of the crab wizard who predicts good luck; potters who will show their skills in pottery; weaves exhibiting their very beautiful fabric; blacksmiths will not fail to impress you despite the difficult and archaic working conditions in which they produce these tools, which are indispensable for the local population survival. Dinner and night at Rhumsiki lodge.
DAY 06: RHUMSIKI –MOKOLO – COL DE KOZA – OUDJILLA –WAZA.

Breakfast, drive through Mokolo to visit the fantastic “gorges de kola “, the Traditional dances of northern region. Continue to Oudjilla after lunch: visit to the chieftaincy where the chief, aged at least 86, has 50 wives and more than 110 children. You will appreciate the colorful history of this village of the Far North located at an 850m altitude; visitors are showed around by one of the chief’s children and you can watch the chief’s wives dances. Continuation to Waza crossing the Koza hill for admiring the beauty of this village. Dinner and night in Waza Camp. DAY 07: WAZA – PARC –WAZA. Breakfast early in the morning, departure to the Waza National Park to discover the wildlife diversity of this natural area. Exploration of the Park in search of and the possible discovery of the most beautiful wild animals, from lions to giraffes, from elephants to ostriches, from rhinoceros to cheetahs. Dinner and accommodation at the camp in Waza. DAY 08: WAZA-MAROUA-DOUALA. Breakfast, departure for Douala from Maroua by air. Lunch on board the plan. Upon arrival drive to Douala International Airport, departure formalities, farewell greetings, take off and end of Tour.
