Hedge funds are at the centre of Simmons & Simmons. No other London firm has an equivalent asset-management focused team of expert advisers covering all the issues that matter to the investment funds industry today: regulation, fund structures, investor terms, taxation, trading documentation, fund marketing, ownership and employee terms. Every year the challenges to hedge fund managers change and every year we have the real experts to lead our clients and the industry: in 2020 (and 2021 so far) Brexit, SFDR, COVID and Digital Assets have been at the forefront of Managers’ minds. We have the scale and breadth of expertise to lead on these new and specialist issues. Our scale remains unrivalled: we act for over three-quarters of the largest UK and European hedge fund managers, over half of the largest US hedge fund managers and over one-third of the largest Asian hedge fund managers. We advised 50% of the London -based start-up managers in HFM’s “20 for 2020”. Contact: Enquiries@ simmons-simmons.com
