Domaine de Souviou Bandol Red Vintage: 2008 Varietals: Mourvèdre 80%, Cinsault 5%, Grenache 10%, Carignan 5% Region: Bandol, France Domaine de Souviou Red is a wine for laying down. It bas been matured for 18 months in oak barrels and is brilliant from its first few years. A lovely crimson colour, Domaine de Souviou Red is robust, weIl balanced and elegant. The grapes are totally de-stalked before vinification, so it may be enjoyed while still young thanks to the aromatic power of the Mourvèdre, which gives it aIl its strength and a delightfully long finish. It has natural red berry aromas that, with time, acquire hints of undergrowth, liquorice, venison and a touch of roasting and spices. The bouquet displays great aromatic purity with very intense tropical fruit notes: passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, and apricot. Barrel ageing makes this great vintage of Yquem even more delicious. The flavors are in total harmony with the bouquet. This wine displays a perfect equilibrium between sweetness, acidity, and alcohol on the palate. The complex botrytised nuances so appreciated by our tastebuds are incredible quality here. Sélection Souviou Varietals : Mourvèdre 40%, Grenache 30%’ Vieux Carignan 30% Region: Provence, France This wine has a deep cherry color that contrasts with its delicate and fresh bouquet, distinguished by aromas of fresh fruit (raspberry). Full and generous on the palate with a fine and delicate finish. It is characterized by young yet silky tannins, with a pleasant persistence of spicy notes. Aged 18 months in oak barrel.

Côtes de Provence Red – 2012

Varietals: Mourvèdre 90%, Grenache 4%, Cabernet 3%, Syrah 3% Region: Provence, France This is a wine with a complex bouquet of blackberry and Morello cherry. Dark color with dark red flashes and an ample attack on the palate consisting of smooth tannins. It is an outstanding wine, ideal with red charcuterie, barbecues, meat cooked in sauce, cold meats and firm cheeses. The perfect companion to enjoy during evenings spent amongst friends.

Bandol Red – 2010

Varietals : Mouvèdre 75%, Carignan 10%, Grenache 10%, Cinsault 5% Region: Provence, France A nice dark color with wild and powerful aromas and notes of licorice spices and ripe red fruit. Full and generous on the palate with a fine tannic textured finish. Red Bandol wines are ideally served with grilled red meats, marinated or non-marinated, and various meats in sauces. It is also served with chocolate-based desserts. Aged 18 months in oak barrel.

Varietals: Clairette 60%, Bourboulenc 20%, Sauvignon 10%, Rolle 10% Region: Provence, France A beautiful pale golden-green color, this wine is notable for its roundness of taste, its finesse and elegance. Subtle aromas reveal traces of floral and fruity flavors, slightly peppery. It is fresh and smooth on the palate, with good minerality and a long and persistent final. This wine is ideal as an aperitif, with grilled fish or fish in sauce, and soft cheeses.

Bandol Rosé – 2012

Varietals : Mourvèdre 40%, Cinsault 35%, Grenache 25% Region: Provence, France This is a wine with dominating aromas of citrus fruit (grapefruit and lemon zest). There, the Zonin family owns the largest Glera vineyards in Italy. It is from these vineyards that the fruit for Prosecco is sourced. On the palate, the wine, still very young, immediately shows firm tannins with much polish and finesse as well, along with a balancing, tonic acidity and savory mineral notes which add length and persistence to the finish and aftertaste.
