Roger Smith lived and worked in Goroka in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea from 1979 to 1981. He was Head of the School of Art & Design at Goroka Technical College and during that time undertook many professional photographic assignments. His work was published in Air Nuigini in‐flight magazines and exhibited during the 1980 South Pacific Festival of Arts, held in Port Moresby. This small portfolio is a sample of images he collected.
