GETTING THERE & AROUND

Guatemala boasts two international airports: La Aurora International Airport and Mundo Maya International Airport. Public transportation around the country only consists of large, yellow school buses, although they are a target for crime as they move slowly through the narrow streets. There are no trains. Taxis are available but can be a conduit to dangerous situations. The best option is to ride with a rideshare such as Uber or Lyft.
