Brain Fleming- My Path to my Purpose

Brian In the bombing I sustained a second degree burns to my face and neck, which have now healed, third degree burns to both my hands, which required reconstructive surgery, burn treatment and occupational physical therapy. Upon arriving at Brooke Army Medical Center they had to scrape the burned skin off my face and hands and neck with razor blades. When I got to the medical center, it was the worst physically torturous process. I can’t even begin to describe. There are no words that can describe how painful that was, but they had to do it because if not, I would have definitely died of infection.
