I have been co-developing and projecting all graphic, visual and textual content for an innovative and state-of-art sales training, as well as sales & customer tools - called Value-Based Selling (VBS) Training Programme.

It has been developed in-house by the VBS Team and SEM’s. It is being specifically designed for (newcomers and well experienced) Bühler Sales Professionals. It is intended to enable and maximize learning (anytime and anywhere), in order to ensure that the sales force is kept up-to-date, at optimum level, with Bühler’s key messages and benefits; focused on customer value perspective.

It is delivered through two main complementary arms:

Furthermore, it is a useful sales tool that allows an easy understanding of relevant topics when discussing with customers. In the future, many content will be packaged for customers use only, which pretends to yield revenues to the group. The contents are mainly comprised in the following three modules: 1. Basics of the Basic (Bob) 2. Applications (Apps) 3. Value Management (VM)

on the fundamentals of Optical Sorting, and the latter on understanding applications and comparing technologies. VM links all the technical arguments with a method to find and show customers the economic benefit(s) of investing with Buhler. Value-Based Selling is a collaborative process (Buhler-Customer), focusing on delivering what customer values. All three modules have been developed for the VBS Training Apps (iOS and Android).

Bob is based on generic technical topics that would matter for anyone who works with Optical Sorting. Apps and VM are specific to sectors, commodities, regions, teams, Buhler and competitors’ products. Bob and Apps are rather technical, the first focuses 7


UI / UX DESIGN CONCEPT I developed a simple but comprehensive and aesthetic wireframe, to facilitate user’s interaction and keep the app and its content engaging with the users. The main purpose was to build an up-to-date application, making use of colours, animations, all the modern features of new applications and with complete consistency in design across the pages. During the work on UI design, colours and fonts were selected balancing the CI guidelines, and a exclusive touch.

Once you download the contents, the app works offline in order to review all the VBS modules 24/7.

Content Module Chart: It shows 3 sub-charts (content modules) that grow outwards as the user goes through more assigned lessons for each module - it gives a qualitative idea of how much has been done for each module. At the same time it works as buttons to launch the content of each module. The percentage shown in the centre quantified how much (over all of his/her assignments) training the user has done. Each module features a distinct colour that it is consistently used across the whole training. 12

Face-to-face training The implemented Face-to-Face Training is highly interactive and makes use of adult learning theories through experiential group and individual activities, demonstrations, experiments, multimedia, stories, open discussions, quizzes, competitors’ arguments and market misconceptions analysis, definitions, etc. The training is also support by the use of a Dell multi-touch interactive projector. The Face-to-Face and m-Learning lessons share the same user interface and layout - with the purpose to make the users feel that they work under one single training environment. All lessons Face-to-Face and m-Learning are produce using advance authoring tools (published on HTML 5) which allows interactive content to be presented.

projects developed for mobile Learning Rice Impurities and defects Content developed for App module with the aim to get users familiarised with the main rice defects types. The topic provides a 360 degree view for each rice defect, which it is possible scrolling the displayed index-finger horizontally. If you scroll until the right end, there is information related to each described defect. The project has been developed using Articulate 360. This has been used as a template for other sectors and its defects.

Bühler DT Monetary Value Calculator The value calculator is a financial benefits tool. It is designed to perform financial analysis in which the customer can have a clear visibility of how much more money he/she can make, when partnering with Bühler, even under some counterintuitive scenarios. The VC is meant to be used in collaboration with the customer, at the point that all technical enquires have been discussed and at least many of the most important ones are better covered by Bühler, which it has been evaluated and recognised by identifying customer’s value. I designed the graphic template and helped during the developed the application with the support of a Excel developer. 17


BĂźhler Rice Role Play This role play has been designed for the Indian Sales Team, with the aim to practice Value Selling, based on real events. During the role play the user has to deal with a rice customer interested in buying an optical sorter machine, facing multiple choice situations, being led by the Buhler wizard, a special assistant who gives advises during the sales process.

2. ikon make up School project IKON MAKEUP is a brand created for a school project. The student’s task was to design a logo for a company, which he or she had to create the name and choose which field is in. Create its personal brand identity - from the business cards, to gadgets to distribute to the customers. In addition to this, it was required to create the company website, which was a web platform to buy the products on an online store. I was tasked with a series of graphics and illustrations for the dance academy “Des Etoiles” in Trento, Italy. The school is a performing art academy where scholars perform showcases featuring theatrical shows and musicals. I worked with the school technical staff and art director on this musical show, which is a follow-up project to another successful musical. In this new project, we focused not only on the choreography and costumes, but we also gave the play an important stylistic concept.

With my work, however, we were able to create a space concept through the implementation of illustrated and animated scenography projected onto the stage. Thanks to the help of a projector we created “The virtual city”. Additionally, I also created its logo and all promotional material such as posters, show programmes, etc.

4. cordiletti magazine CLIENT: Cordiletti Federazione With a million and a half members Coldiretti is the main organisation for farmers at the national and European level. I was commissioned to illustrate and design a new layout for their monthly magazine “Il Contadino”. The task was to revamp the oldfashioned design into something more fresh and modern.

5. vino santo

wine label concept

CLIENT: Cantina Toblino I was tasked with designing the wine label for Cantina Toblino winery. Vino Santo is one of their most prestigious wines. The mature and dry bunches are hung on racks called Arèle, thus promoting the slow natural drying process which traditionally lasts until Holy Week. This is why the wine is called “Vino Santo” or Holy Wine.

CLIENT: Grafiche Futura Srl Wine label projected for the print company Grafiche Futura (Italy) in 2015. The company wanted to give to their customers a Christmasthemed gift to commemorate the festive season. The task was to design a special and personalized label for this wine.

7. Svampfile School project

app/game concept

Svampfile was a school project designed in 2014. The concept comes from my passion for vampires and the supernatural world. The game is designed for tablets that run on Android and iOS. The user’s character is a human called Willie, who is lost in a desolate place infested with vampires - the location varies depending on the levels you complete. The character is equipped with a nail file to use to defend themselves. The player has to try to file the teeth of the vampires who attack him in the shortest amount of time possible using the speed of their fingers - to file the player uses the index to simulate a hypothetical filing. The more vampires that the player defeats, the more weapons that the player can acquire to fight his/her enemies. When you defeat all the vampires in the current level you can go to the next level to complete the game. 41

8. PICKFORM Personal project, 2014 Pickform is an application dedicated to training, which allows the user to make a targeted focus on training research. The app is specialised for education and training, its software collects ads based on user’s preferences and those ads will appear on the user’s feed.

Pickform allows the user to conduct research with two distinct research sections: education and personal training. For example, looking at the education section, the user opens the first page. Here the user must fill in the specific fields relating to a type of school or course he or she is looking for, the city where they want to study and the country. If the user wants to save an item to review it a second time, with a tap on the “PICK� he or she can save the choice into personal folders on their profile.

CLIENT: Des Etoiles As mentioned before, I created a series of animated and fixed backgrounds for Però’s musical. The goal was to create a video scenography, which were projected onto the stage to depict the scenes visually. In the following pages there are some of the most successful illustrations, along with their use on the stage during the show.

10. th E pursuit o f imagination Personal project, 2013 The Pursuit of Imagination is a stop motion video which was designed using a two-dimensional illustration technique - I used a bright and vibrant color palette. The project is a tribute to the style and art of the American graphic designer Saul Bass.

concept - italian version

CLIENT: School project I was tasked to design an e-commerce website and I choose to use the brand Zara. Its website was conceptualised to serve as an interactive platform for customers to be updated when new collections on sale and buy clothes from its online store. I designed the website based on the color scheme of black, white and cream, using a minimal style to express the elegance of the brand.
