A judge must be the champion for each party’s rights and decide cases based on the facts and law. A judge must respect discipline and the United States and Pennsylvania Constitutions. A judge takes an oath to support and defend these treasured documents. A judge is impartial and fair to each litigant because every person is entitled to his or her day in court. A judge is not an advocate for any party in any case and a judge does not have to promise to be “tough on crime” or be for or against certain types of cases. A judge must be fair to each party.

Robert and his wife Kim have 5 children; Daniel, Kiera, Danielle, Michael and Dana. Robert is a member of Saint James Lutheran Church. He enjoys riding his bicycle, bowling and gardening.
