GMA Launches 2016 Christmas Campaign feeling of having one’s wish granted for Christmas in the eyes of a child. A leader in creativity and innovation, the Network marks another first as it makes use of 3D graphics in its new Christmas campaign, a first in the local television industry.

omething magical unfolded on television as GMA Network launched its 2016 Christmas campaign dubbed, “Maniwala Sa Magic Ng Pasko,” the first locally-produced 3D animated Christmas campaign, last November 7. The station that is one-in-heart with the Filipino audience brings to life three endearing and magical stories that will inspire viewers to believe in the magic of Christmas. “During such a busy time of the year, we hope that, by spreading the message of hope, every Kapuso will get to experience the joy and limitless possibilities that come with believing in the magic of the Season,” said GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon. The story, Magic Crayons, is the first in this three-part series and highlights the magical

The theme song of this year’s Christmas campaign is sung by Julie Anne San Jose with lyrics written by BJ Camaya and Nicolle Castillo and music composed by Len Calvo and Ann Figueroa.

GMA Network Increases Lead in Nationwide Ratings G

MA Network increased its lead over ABS-CBN in nationwide TV ratings in October, based on data from Nielsen TV Audience Measurement. For the period October 1 to 31 (with October 23 to 31 based on overnight data), GMA enhanced its lead in NUTAM with a 37.4 percent average household audience share, ahead of ABS-CBN’s 35.6 percent by 1.8 points. GMA scored top ratings across all

day parts in NUTAM, including the highly coveted primetime block. Meanwhile, the Kapuso Network also furthered its leadership position in Urban Luzon, which accounts for 77 percent of all urban households in the country. In Urban Luzon, GMA won across all dayparts and registered an average household share of 41.9 percent, while ABSCBN posted only 31.3 percent, which is 10.6 points behind GMA’s total day average.

The series tells the extraordinary story of Nonoy (Derrick Monasterio), a driver who turns into a superhero due to the effect of a mysterious object from a distant planet. n celebration of Philippine American History Month, Kapuso comedy queen Aiai Delas Alas brought her own brand of fun to the Philippine Adobo Festival in Texas last October 29 at the Swayz Ballroom in Dallas and October 30 at the Schertz Community Center in San Antonio.

The Philippine Adobo Festival was organized by AZ Media Entertainment Services. GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV, and GMA News TV International – GMA Network’s three international channels – served as the two-day event’s exclusive media sponsors.

Known for her wit and humor, the Sunday PinaSaya mainstay added a dash of excitement to the event, which served as a venue to unite Filipinos in Texas through their shared love of a well-known Filipino dish – Adobo. The Philippine Adobo Festival was a feast for the senses, with its adobo cooking contests, rousing cultural dances, and live bands.
