My expectation for this new semester is to be able to learn much more of the language and even have the opportunity to become fluent as a native. The classes are on-line which means that we must improve in every way. I am making a study schedule as well as looking for support to the classes. What do I mean? Well, not to limit myself with the class hours but to deepen the class and of course, to practice a lot. I hope I can improve my vocabulary and pronunciation, I think we all have

Secondly, the grammar it´s so important with the vocabulary, because if you don´t write right you don´t improve in the speaking and, of course, your level of English would be depressing. Well, you should do read much more specially the rules. If you don´t understand something you can looking for that problem and you found the right answer. Next, you should practice a lot with online platform or maybe you can write or print the exercises, Such as, work sheets or maybe simulator of test and similar. For instance, you can uses a lot of books to improve the grammar and obligatorily the pronunciation. I hope this helps you and please feel free to talk to me after class next week.
41
First of all, you should extend your vocabulary. How you can do this? Well, you can this using new words after you hear it or after you read about the word. You should do a list of that new words and looking for a lot of synonyms. When I did be an on-line course of English my professor recommended me an app. It´s amazing cause remember the words after long hours or month you didn´t listen to. I read an article about that, the scientists called it spatial memory, It´s interesting because you remember the word and it means just before you forget it. For example, you're walking and your cell phone rings, it's the app and it reminds you of one of the words you learned 2 weeks ago that you probably already forgot.

Usage 1. Use the Past Simple to express an action that started and finished at a specific time in the past. Sometimes, the speaker may not actually mention the specific time, but they do have one specific time in mind.
Examples: ❖ I saw a movie yesterday. ❖ Last year, I traveled to Japan.
❖ Did you have dinner last night? ❖ She washed her car two hours ago.
2. We use the Simple Past to list a series of completed actions in the past. These actions happen 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th,

Past Simple: Regular Verbs ▪ The Past Simple tense of the most English verbs (regular
verbs) is formed by adding "-ed"/"-d" to their base form. (If the verb ends in "-e", we add "-d" to form the past simple)
Examples:
Spelling Rules If a regular verb ends in consonant + y change y to i and add -ed: carry - carried, study - studied, fry - fried, try - tried If a one syllable regular verb ends in consonant + vowel + consonant double the final consonant and add ed -- > stop - stopped, plan - planned, rob - robbed, beg - begged
If a regular verb has more than one syllable and ends in consonant + vowel + consonant, we double the final consonant only if the final syllable is stressed -- > preFER - preferred, regRET regretted
Exception: In British English verbs ending in -l have -ll before -ed whether the final syllable is stressed or not -- > travel - travelled
❖ We arrived at 9:00 o'clock.

This first termt was a so difficult for me, because it was not easy to understand the present perfect and all those uses. However, I tried to follow through and realized that it was necessary. I found my study rhythm and I practice a lot in a web page that is called www.tolearnenglish.com has helped me a lot, I hope to learn a lot more, it is obvious that I still have problems but not like I had before.
I hope I can learn much more, my friends have told me that this level is very difficult, at first I hesitated to believe them but now I think the same. I am even a little confident because the previous semesters I understood with ease and in the tests I was not bad as today. I need to make more effort, I
