Our Wedding Day- Once upon a wedding day in the small town of Easley, Scott began getting ready with his groomsmen at his brother’s house and Alyssa began to get ready with her bridesmaids at her and Scotts home. After everyone was ready they all headed to Glassy chapel at the Cliffs for their ceremony. Alyssa and Scott said their I Do’s and then after pictures everyone headed to the reception at Willow Creek Plantation. At the reception the bridal party was announced, the father/daughter mother/son dances were followed and then Scott and Alyssa came out and danced their choreographed first dance they worked on together in their basement for a year and a half. After drinking/eating, dancing, pictures, laughs, and a bunch of memories made. Scott and Alyssa had their last dance in the middle of a circle surrounded by family and friends. Everyone then lined up for send off. Alyssa and Scott ran through hundreds of confetti to ride off into the sunset on a horse and carriage. They lived happily ever after.

Our Story- Our story is my favorite story to tell. God’s plan can sometimes be so hard to trust and follow, but God certainly has a way of working your life out in the most spectacular way. Cole and I met on a cruise ship in the summer of 2015. Yes, we literally met in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean! I was on my high school graduation trip, and he was on his college graduation trip. Both of our friend groups became pretty close, and we all ended up hanging out while on the boat. While on that Carnival Cruise Boat, it seemed that everywhere I looked Cole was always coincidentally close by. Unfortunately, two days before the cruise, I broke my foot. So, I was on crutches for the entire trip. Luckily, I think the broken foot was a blessing in disguise. One night while our friend groups were having a blast on the dance floor, Cole and I ended up spending a good bit of time sitting at a table and talking to one another. To be completely honest, he was the most adorable thing I had ever seen. But, what made Cole even more interesting was his selflessness. Our friends wanted to go to the top of the cruise ship to watch the sunset one night. Me being on crutches, that was going to be a very difficult trip for me. Cole carried me up many, many, many flights of stairs. I don’t know many people who would offer to carry a person they’ve known for two days all over a cruise ship, but Cole did. The minute I stepped off that ship, I began to miss him. I told my parents on the way home that one day Cole and I would meet again. After many months of just talking every other week, we started getting more and more interested in one another. We had a really good friendship and neither one of us really pushed to be more. On our first actual date, we went to Sweet Frog for ice cream. He also ran two red lights that night, because he was looking at me instead of the road. We’ve been inseparable since that night

From the bride- I met Michael through mutual friends while he was attending The Citadel in Charleston and I was attending the University of South Carolina in Columbia. We started dating in August of 2015 and it wasn’t long until I knew he was the one. Around Thanksgiving of 2016, Michael was ready to pick out a ring. After a period of time searching, he had bought an engagement ring and wedding band. He had started planning the proposal. Shortly after this purchase and planning, Michael’s grandfather passed away. It was not until after his passing that Michael would learn that his Grandfather and Grandmother both wanted Michael to pass down their wedding ring for Michael to give to me. Michael removed the center stone from the ring he was given and had it set in another band for the new family heirloom to rest in. A new center stone was placed in his Grandmothers original band, which she continues to wear today. March 3, 2017, the memorial service for his Grandfather was held in Buffalo, New York. At its conclusion, Michael left in a separate car. During my car ride, Michael’s grandmother asked if they could stop to see the church where she was married. I was sent in first to check to see if there was an event going on inside the church. There was—and it was for me. I opened the doors where I would see my boyfriend — soon to be fiancé — at the end of the alter. It was there at the same alter where his grandparents were married, where Michael promised to love me forever. We are so thankful to have had John and his team capture the moments we shared together during the best day of our lives. He has given us the ability to relive our beautiful wedding day at the Avenue in the form of photos and videos, which serve as a daily remainder of how fortunate we are. We are so grateful for all of the support from our family, friends, and vendors that made our wedding day so perfect. 45

Our Story- John and Collin’s story started in 2009 on the ADPi hall before Christmas Cocktail. No they weren’t each other’s dates. They met and (in his words) always noticed when the other was around after that. The story gets a little more interesting one night at a Clemson bar in 2010 when John tried his charm on Collin. It didn’t go to plan but John told one of his friends “she’ll be back” as her platinum blonde hair flipped and proudly walked away. Fast forward to Atlanta 2017. Collin’s new to the city and finds out through acquaintances that John also lives in Atlanta and made his interest in Collin known. She told a mutual friend to give him her number and she heard from him that night. In John’s words, “it only took one date for that 2010 spark to come back.” After 2 more dates, John told Collin he was moving to Raleigh in a few weeks. They both had hesitations about distance but knew there was something special/different that was worth not letting go of yet. After a move to Raleigh, a move to St.Louis, many flights and tearful goodbyes (Collin being the tearful one) along the way, the two were destined for one another. Their dating chapter closed and the engagement chapter began the morning of September 29, 2018 when John and Collin went for a “sunrise” hike. Despite the trail being closed until sunrise and Collin stepping shin deep in river mud, the hike led them to the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers where John got down on one knee with the most beautiful ring Collin had ever seen that was wrapped in John’s lucky Clemson TigerRag.

Thier Story - Late September of this year we had the opportunity to help create an epic celebration for Anna Grace and Brandon. Their wedding celebration was held at a beautiful venue nestled in the middle of the mountains called Chestnut Ridge in Canton, NC. The gorgeous white barn, surrounded by stunning views was the perfect setting for the two of them. Our day with Anna Grace and Brandon started with providing the soundtrack to their wedding ceremony. They chose songs that were close to their hearts, as well as arrival songs that perfectly fit the vibe and setting of their day. Once they were officially hitched, we continued the fun to their cocktail hour, complete with a spectacular charcuterie spread from and delicious cocktails too! We kicked off their wedding reception with a super high energy wedding party introduction. For their grand introduction, Anna Grace and Brandon entered their celebration to all of their friends and family on their feet, cheering on the newlyweds. They led into their first dance, Heaven by Boyce Avenue. When the chorus rose, so did our indoor spark fountains and the guests all cheered. The smiles on everyone’s faces were priceless and it made for the perfect moment. Following dinner and toasts, we kicked off their party and what a party it what! All of the seats were empty and the dance floor was packed. Our Luxe services were the perfect fit for the venue and the high energy dance party that they wanted. We also included two LED screens for their custom video monogram and slideshow. Between our talented team, the effect enhancements, and the great group of people, everything came together for a unforgettable celebration for Anna Grace and Brandon. Special thanks to Anastasiia Photography for capturing so many amazing moments and working tirelessly to create so many great pictures.

Our Story - We met when we were kids— I was 3 and Landon was 6. We were in the same Sunday school class, which my mom taught. Landon claims he knew back then that I was “the one,” and would mention to his mom growing up how pretty he thought I was. His mom always told people I would be her daughter-inlaw one day, and Landon jokes that he had to put me on “layaway” because of our age difference. Our first date wasn’t until 2008, the summer after Landon graduated college. That would be the last time we spoke until 2011, when we reconnected and began dating. Our seven years together before our engagement were adventurous, with Landon’s NFL career and my medical school career creating a long-distance relationship. After so many years and such a wild ride, it was amazing to tie the knot on our beautiful wedding day.

Our Story- I had just moved back home to Greenville, having left a job in Miami, Florida. After being home for about a month, my good friend Alejandra and I, went downtown for a comedy show and decided to grab a few drinks afterwards. We walked into a taproom, and as we walked to get a drink, a guy called Alejandra’s name and they gave each other a big hug. I could tell by their interaction that they were old friends. Arlen and I both stared at each other with a look of “who are you,” since we shared a mutual friend, yet we had never crossed paths. I had known Alejandra since we were teenagers. Our first initial impressions of each other when she introduced us were not the greatest, funny enough. Without even holding a conversation yet, he came across as very confident, but in a cocky way, and he thought I looked a little stuck up. We all decided to sit down together with the rest of our group, and we actually spent most of the night talking to just each other. As it turned out, neither of us were what we thought…ha! He let me know he traveled a lot for work, and was only home for a bit, while I let him know I was looking to get settled back home and focus on my career. I mentioned to Alejandra after we left, that I thought he was really nice and cute. Then, casually, she let me know he was a free spirited guy and always on the go, to which I laughed and thought to myself, “I will probably never see him again.” This ended up being semi-true!

We didn’t speak or see each other for about 6 months, (turns out he was only in Greenville once after we first met). After some time had passed, we randomly ran into each other again, through Alejandra who was hosting her birthday party, which sparked our entire relationship. Other friends of ours suggested he come talk to me again, and we had the best time and conversation together. After that night, we spent almost every moment together, and I knew he was the one…as cheesy as it sounds. We went to Mexico together, after a little over a month of dating, to celebrate my friends wedding. As we were walking back to our resort one night, we popped into a bar, ordered a shot of tequila, looked at each other, laughed, and said, “I think we love each other.” Its’s a night we will never forget, and always puts a smile on our faces. For that reason, Mexico holds a special place in our hearts. Arlen and I dated for little over two years before he proposed. It was the best, and happiest relationship either of us have ever been in, and it felt so easy. We share so many interests, yet are totally opposites. I worry about EVERYTHING, while Arlen is the most positive person ever! He is forever talking me off the ledge…haha! We started talking about marriage often, but I never expected the engagement when it happened. We went to New York to surprise my best friend for his 30th birthday, but I wanted to celebrate Arlen too, as his Birthday was only in a few days. Arlen is a great photographer and mentioned he wanted to go to Brooklyn to take photos of the Manhattan skyline. I kept telling him we didn’t have time to go into BK, then back into Manhattan. It was going to be rainy and cold, but he said it was something he wanted to do, and he really wanted to meet up with an old friend to take photos. He convinced me the photos would be worth it, so we met his friend, who ended up asking if she could take photos of us for her portfolio. The thought crossed my mind he was going to propose as we moved from spot to spot, but I kept telling myself it was too good to be true. It was just about to get dark, when she said she had one more shot. We climbed out on the rocks under the Brooklyn Bridge, as we were staring at the Manhattan skyline. I had bought him a gift earlier for his birthday, and asked again if he liked his present, just to make small talk as the girl kept shooting us. His eyes lit up, and he said, “I got you a present also.” He then got down on one knee. It is one of the most magical memories we have, and at that moment I would have given anything to freeze time. Our wedding day was nothing short of that as well. There is nothing greater than being surrounded by your family and close friends. It was yet another magical time in our lives :)

About the couple - Abbie and Chris are one of the sweetest couples! They are both loved unconditionally by everyone around. The love they have for each other just lights up the room. And you can see it when they look at each other. Both graduates of Auburn University, Abbie & Chris’s paths didn’t cross until post-graduation while living in New York City cheering on the Tigers at an Auburn alumni bar in the Big Apple. After a trip to Paris months later, Chris planned the most perfect surprise engagement near the Eiffel Tower. The rest, is history! The couple were married at Abbie’s grandparent’s home, where her parents tied the knot 27 years earlier. Abbie’s grandpa built a gazebo in honor of their wedding for their yard. Our Story- It all started in the beehive with this question: “Have you ever made a hole-in-one?” Sarah and Kyle quickly knew their March Madness Fling would lead to a Wedding March. Being a Wedding Professional Sarah wanted to make sure their day was perfect! Picking the date was first, hiring the dream team was next, but most important was giving guests a glimpse into their life together through all the details. From a Seating Chart made like a tournament bracket, their home states as place cards, a South Carolina hand carved (by Kyle) for table numbers, a nod to his heritage with an Italian family style dinner, a play on her playful personality through bright colors and patterns and the special touches on their outfits. Kyle paid tribute to those he had lost and the things he cherishes most with unique patches found inside of his jacket. Sarah was still able to walk down the aisle with her grandfathers and father with fabric hearts sewed onto the train of her dress. Aside from the little things, Sarah and Kyle knew how to throw one big party! The band had the dance floor full all night and the bar was stocked with their favorite wines, craft brews and two special pup-tails: The Chuck and The Ana. Sarah and Kyle’s wedding day was an incredible celebration of who they are as individuals and who they are as husband and wife!

How They Met - Craig and Jennifer met at Viva il Vino in downtown Anderson a couple of years ago. He was in town for a wedding the next night, and after the rehearsal, Craig went out to Viva. He was sitting next to two pretty ladies, and when he locked eyes with one of them, he was so drawn to her and she to him. They chatted for hours. The next night he was at the wedding and was shocked to see her. What he didn’t know is that she worked at the Bleckley. It felt like fate and this adorable town was bringing them together. Fast forward a couple of years, and they tie the knot themselves in that same place where they met and fell for each other!

Our Story- Tanner & Alesha met back in October of 2013. They both started their first jobs at the dollar movie theatre. Although they didn’t start dating until January of 2015, they both knew it was love at first sight. Tanner proposed two years after dating & they’ve been happily married ever since. From Alesha: Our wedding at Old Paths Farm in Gaffney was absolutely one of the best days of my life! The weather was perfect for a spring wedding, not a cloud in the sky! The venue is absolutely breathtaking, and very private. We had our ceremony outside under the custom-built pergola. The reception was inside the beautiful red barn, & we danced under the lit up pergola once it was dark outside! The night ended with a sparkler send off. The owners of Events at Old Paths Farm are truly kind & great people to work with!

Our Story- Harrison and I have known each other since we were three years old! Our parents met at church and became the best of friends which led to us growing up together. Growing up, Harrison always had a crush on me, and It quickly became the family joke that we were “betrothed” to one another. We were the best of buds...we would go fishing, hunting, frogging, mud-sliding, and everything in between! While my family and I moved around a lot, we would make it a point to see the Shirley’s at least once or twice a year! It was always fun and we never had a dull moment as the years went on! It wasn’t until I was 18 when I realized my feelings for him were starting to change. After my summer spent in South Carolina, we ended up dating and going to school in Colorado together! And a year later, we were engaged and planning a wedding with our family!! The parents were so excited that their “plan” worked out and couldn’t believe it! We have been married for four months and are so happy to be back in South Carolina, the place we grew up together!

Berbank was awesome to work with as our event rentals and day-of coordination vendor! From our initial design consultation, Berbank took a single inspiration photo that my wife had found and ran with it. They worked with us over several months to make sure that Indigo Hall would look incredible while staying within our budget. Berbank was incredibly flexible and accommodated all of our requested changes even in the months leading up to the ceremony. Many guests commented on how much they loved the decor - a testament to Berbanks eye for design. November 2nd, 2019 was far more than I could have ever dreamed of! We got married at Lions Gate Manor; our ceremony was in front of the fireplace at the Pavilion, the cocktail hour was in the Groove, and the reception was on the Lawn. Although it ended up being slightly chilly, our hearts were warm. It was our very own beautiful fairytale wedding!

Depending on who you ask, you might get a little different spin on how Ben and I really met. Ben and I knew of each other growing up at church, we saw each other at church events, but of course it never went anywhere, much to Ben’s dismay. Fast forward 8 years later to May 5th, 2017. Thanks to some very special friends and a God who has plans far greater than our own, Ben and I met again at Paradise Lanes bowling alley. From that night on, it’s been nothing short of a fairytale. Ben asked me to marry him March 18, 2019 and we began our forever November 2nd, 2019. We are so blessed that God saw fit for our paths to cross (multiple times) and for His beautiful gift of marriage.

How He Asked - Caroline had just walked in the door after taking her board exams where she found Zach dressed in a suit with a bouquet of flowers, champagne, and their favorite dessert - key lime pie. Zach gave Caroline a card from their dog, Kramer, congratulating her on completing the test and signed with a paw. They poured themselves some champagne, cut the pie, and went out on the back deck to get some fresh air after a long test day. Waiting for Caroline on the table outside was another card, this time from Zach himself. There was a handwritten note inside that brought Caroline to tears. When she turned around, Zach was on one knee with a ring. Caroline said yes!

About the day- Our wedding was a wonderful representation of who we are as a couple and our personalities are definitely reflected in the details and candid shots throughout the day! We wanted something that was fun and lighthearted with a party atmosphere that would bring all our friends and family together and get them out on the dance floor; and at the same time something that was both elegant and classic. One of the most important aspects to me was finding a way to honor my mother, who has passed away, in a way that was both beautiful and meaningful at the ceremony. We did this by having my brother walk a bouquet of flower down the aisle and set them on a small memorial table during the processional, as well as weaving my mom’s favorite flowers into the decorations at the ceremony as a nod to her. All in all, the wedding was everything we could have asked for- it was a wonderful party with our family and friends where we got to celebrate the greatest day of our lives and thank all of them for being a part of it and loving us both.
