3: Circa Resort & Casino,”
Legacy Club
Check out these hot spots to eat, drink and be merry
By Kiko Miyasato
Circa Resort & Casino was the shining star that Las Vegas needed during 2020. The future looked bright with the opening of the new hotel-casino, the first built from the ground up in downtown since 1980. In its second year, Circa continues to wow guests with its multitude of offerings—from the multistory casino and sportsbook, behemoth pool complex that operates 365 days a year to the excellent offerings when it comes to food, drink and entertainment. We’ve picked three of our favorite spots for you to explore.
Besides the obvious highlights of Legacy Club—it’s on the 60th floor, has a spacious rooftop patio and gorgeous views of the valley—the lounge offers some pretty cool bonuses. If you want a real special evening, book the Sunset Package. You get private seating around one of the fire pits on the patio, two handcrafted cocktails and a champagne toast at sunset. Legacy Club also offers those that love making and learning about cocktails a cool opportunity to do both with its Elevated Spirits Craft Cocktail Course. Guests get the chance to craft three different cocktails, learn the
history behind spirits and cocktails, learn proper cocktail-making techniques and gain knowledge on how to craft your own cocktail recipes.
This restaurant is just a cool place to hang. Project BBQ is situated right along the Fremont Street Experience and features a permanent food truck where guests can order some of the best Carolina barbecue and all the fixings. The picnic-style dining area offers high-top tables where guests can stand up and eat while enjoying all the people-watching action. For a real memorable experience, we suggest ordering Project BBQ’s gigantic Hogstravaganza Platter. (Tip: This is for a large, hungry group). The platter is delivered to your table with lit sparklers. On the platter is a whole roasted pig, Project crackling skins and chips, a whole pineapple, corn on the cob, zucchini, bell peppers, roasted potatoes, coleslaw, limes, a variety of sauces and the Hundred $$Dollar$$ Sandwich (which you can also order on its own). The 2-foot-long sandwich is piled with brisket,
Project BBQ
Circa Bar pork and chicken with BBQ sauce, beer and cheese sauce, bacon bits and Project chips.
While Circa Resort & Casino doesn’t technically have any resident shows at the property, there is some great entertainment. Seek out Circa Bar outside along the Fremont Street Experience. Here you’ll find some cool shows around the clock. Circa Bar is staffed with some of the best flair and dancing bartenders in the city. If you’ve never seen flair bartenders perform, you’ll want to take out your camera and hit record while they flip, toss, balance, stack and shake multiple bottles and tins at once to whip up your cocktail. When not serving up one of the frozen cocktails, the beautiful dancing bartenders get up on top of the bar and perform numbers throughout the day and night.
Every nightclub has that standout VIP table that makes for a memorable party experience

Hakkasan
There’s no question that Las Vegas has a lock on some of the best nightlife in the world: Multimillion-dollar spaces filled with the latest in interactive technology; world-renowned DJs and the biggest names in music putting on the most unforgettable performances; multiroom experiences, each with their own vibes and amenities; breathtaking designs filled with the finest in textiles and furnishings; and, yes, some of the best VIP tables that a person can buy. Cha-ching! Want to know exactly what table, at what awesome nightclub, is the best seat in the house? We’ve put you in the know by rounding up five stellar choices!
The Cromwell, 702.777.3800 This massive rooftop nightclub and dayclub with both indoor and outdoor spaces, and views up and down the Las Vegas Strip, has drawn some of the biggest names in hip-hop to its large stage. Resident artists and surprise performances have included Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Future, 2 Chainz, Rae Sremmurd, Migos, Nas, Trey Songz, Lil Wayne and Big Sean. The nightclub is packed with more than 75 primo VIP tables, but if you want to see all the action from every angle and face the stage for those prime performances, book Table 1 (or one of its three identical counterparts) in the middle of the dance floor. Security keeps the general crowd at bay, and each of the tables are spacious enough to host a large party comfortably, with easy access to the restrooms, too.
MGM Grand, 702.891.3838 Five floors of decadence make up Hakkasan. The first two floors make up the famed restaurant, followed by the Ling Ling Lounge and Club, where you’ll hear the best hip-hop beats. It’s on the fourth floor in the nightclub’s main room where you’ll find the largest kinetic light art installation in the U.S.—the Hakkasan Grid. Watching the infinite shapes and colors of the grid as it responds to the DJ’s music is an experience that you don’t want to miss—and you can make
that happen by booking Table 21. This VIP table, right off the dance floor (with easy access to the club’s exits and restrooms), offers better views of the grid than any other vantage point within the main room. And it’s large enough to accommodate big parties. The Venetian, 702.388.8588 Nearing two decades, this Asianthemed hot spot has drawn an A-list crowd from the world of movies, TV, music, sports and more. It continues to be a top contender in Las Vegas nightlife, offering a world-renowned restaurant, sexy lounge and nightclub. And since opening in 2005, Tao’s Table 55 has hosted the most celebrities of any other table inside the 40,000-square-foot space—everyone from the Kardashians and the Hiltons to Mariah Carey, LeBron
James, Snoop Dogg, Marcus Allen, Nicki Minaj, Floyd Mayweather, Drake, Bruno Mars, Ryan Lochte, and on and on and on. The table is also in close proximity to the dance floor and the famed bathtub girls, and has perfect views of the DJ booth.
Omnia
Park MGM, 702.730.7777 Coming in at just 11,000 square feet, On the Record might be the smallest nightclub to enter the Las Vegas nightlife arena, but it packs a mighty powerful punch in its design and décor, musical lineup and its cooler-than-cool throwback to the days of records, boomboxes, garage and house parties and speakeasies. To get the maximum enjoyment from this special venue, head to the main room and its Table 30 in the upper dance floor area next to the water vapor fireplace, affording the best views of the dance floor and DJ booth, as well as the stage. The table also gives your party access to a private karaoke room behind the table. Caesars Palace, 702.785.6200 Spread across 75,000 square feet of opulence, Omnia’s main room is where you’ll witness the superstar EDM DJs perform, and it’s where you want to park your party for the club’s other mind-blowing spectacle—the 22,000-pound kinetic chandelier that shines while fluidly moving to the beats of the music and morphing into some of the most stunning shapes you’ll ever post to Instagram. And Table 11 is where you’ll be able to capture all the glory of the chandelier—from underneath it. This table is also in close proximity to the DJ booth and, according to the nightclub, “is the table to see and be seen, not only by the guests but by the DJs as well.”
