Time to Have a Ball

First o , let me welcome all those reading this magazine who are in town to enjoy a Super Bowl party! Our city is now one year away from hosting the actual event at Allegiant Stadium, so it’s safe to say that Las Vegas is the place to be when it comes to all things Big Game, now and in the future. And as you’ll see from reading this week’s Super Bowl-themed feature (“Time to Play,” p. 38), you’ll have no shortage of ways to agonize over every fi rst down with friends and family. We’ve also added an expanded online version of options, so make sure to visit lasvegasmagazine.com.

And make sure the party doesn’t stop there. There are so many other entertainment options to enjoy this week, from long-running adults-only show Fantasy at Luxor (“Tonight’s the Night,” p. 32) and Foghat at Golden Nugget (“Still Energized,” p. 20) to The Black Crowes at the Pearl at Palms (“The Classics Come Alive,” p. 12) and Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at MGM Grand (“Room for Laughs,” p. 21).

Many of you by now are familiar with Las Vegas’ excellent restaurants. We’ve highlighted a few of them in this issue, from Jack Binion’s Steak at Horseshoe Las Vegas (“A Warm Welcome,” p. 28) to Wally’s Wine & Spirits at Resorts World Las Vegas (“You Can Have It All,” p. 17 ). But as managing editor Nina King shows in this issue, food courts are starting to come on strong as well. She talks about some of the newest, most exciting options (“All About Choice,” p. 34).

Looking for a party that’s not Super Bowl-related? One of the best on the Strip is waiting for you: Lavo Party Brunch at The Venetian. Associate editor Kiko Miysasato breaks the whole experience down for you (“An A air to Remember,” p. 24).

Yes, it’s a big week for the Big Game. And we’re there for you every step (or yard) of the way.

The Classics Come Alive

Band draws on the influences of legendary groups for its Las Vegas concerts

After the release of The Black Crowes’ debut album Shake Your Money Maker on the second Tuesday of February 1990, Chris and Rich Robinson found themselves embraced by the vanguard of rock ‘n’ roll. During a hinge-period in pop music between Guns ‘N’ Roses and grunge, the brothers became conduits for what the press saw as revivalism but was in effect contemporary rock informed by the essence of musical forbears.

Shake Your Money Maker, which The Black Crowes play in its entirety on their current tour that stops for two evenings in Las Vegas, put them on the radar of the likes of Mott the Hoople’s Ian Hunter, Joe Cocker, Izzy Stradlin and Ronnie Lane. All of them wanted to meet the band that seemed to be carrying the torch for guitar-drums-bass traditions, but it was perhaps an encounter with wheelchair-bound Lane that was most poignant.

The Black Crowes were often compared to the Rolling Stones and the Rod Stewart-fronted Faces. Lane played in that band as well as its precursor The Small Faces, featuring the late Steve Marriott on vocals. Chris Robinson’s range, tone and phrasing were reminiscent of Marriot’s powerful pipes, but sounded entirely original when applied to the debut LP’s rocking “Jealous Again,” Otis Redding cover “Hard to Handle” or heart-rending ballad “She Talks to Angels.”

Those songs are featured on the setlists of the current tour, which follows the reissue of an expanded version of Shake Your Money Maker the Robinsons worked on with producer George Drakoulias. Last year they released 1972, an album of covers of Stones, Stewart and T. Rex classics the current incarnation of The Black Crowes (with bassist Sven Pipien, a former roommate of Chris Robinson and founding Crowes drummer Steve Gorman) can draw on for encores. –Matt

A Hidden Gem

Restaurant serves decadent delights beyond pawn shop facade at The Cosmopolitan

Nestled on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan, you’ll find a classy little pawn shop with glass-front cases stocked with everything from tricked-out sneakers to jewelry, watches and purses. Gorgeous guitars are arrayed on the back wall, and an unassuming door invites you to experience even more once you pass through. Inside, you’ll find not a warehouse of items, but a treasure trove of tasty treats.

Beauty & Essex , a collaboration of the Tao Group and chef/partner Chris Santos, consists in Vegas of several plush dining rooms (they’ve been termed jewel boxes, and that’s not far off) and a lively bar perfect for a cocktail hour or dinner with friends.

The raw bar features a huge offering in Pearls of the Sea, with enough oysters, crab, shrimp cocktails and lobster to satisfy everyone. I recommend deep dish focaccia bites for vegetarians; fresh mozzarella, a San Marzano tomato sauce and a spicy relish will have you dipping in again and again. The steak tartare is served on grilled focaccia with black truffle aioli.

There’s a mix of influences on this menu; you’ll find “chile relleno” empanadas, a smooth Mexican street corn ravioli, Thai-style deep-fried shrimp, chicken meatballs and double-cut pork chops with a port wine glaze. Brown butter scallops come over roasted celery root purée while a spicy Siciliano cavatelli features bay scallop, shrimp and squid. If you are fond of beef, get it here in a Wellington with filet mignon and foie gras mousse, or as a 10-ounce, thick-cut classic filet. If that seems a little small to you, maybe the 38-ounce tomahawk ribeye would be more suitable; in that case, feel free to share. On the side, nosh on crispy fried eggplant with roasted peanuts and grape gastrique.

Dessert has the potential to overshadow those flavors, though. Imagine, if you will, the beauty of a peanut butter cheesecake with chocolate cake and cookie crumbles that goes by the name of Chocolate Peanut Butter Meltdown. It’s kind of accurate. –Nina King

You Can Have It All

Resorts World Las Vegas venue is perfect for shopping, dining and wine tasting

There are few venues on the Las Vegas Strip that fit the “one-stop shop” definition quite like Wally’s Wine & Spirits, an outpost of the Southern California institution that combines not only dining and wine tasting but also shopping. Have a great bottle of wine during your dinner or brunch? Buy a bottle afterwards!

Where to start on this incredible menu? It’s gotta be the cheese and charcuterie section. Pair an English Shropshire blue or an Italian Fontal with Brooklyn salami or duck salami. All are sublime. If you’re willing to spend the

coin, you can accompany these with Calvisius caviar varieties, served with crème fraîche and potato blini. If you’re here for brunch, you can go traditional (the lobster Benedict features Provencal tomato, squash and piquant harissa sauce), try something a bit more adventurous (the wood oven-baked Brie and truffle Bolognese— featuring veal truffle ragu bianco—are both excellent), or go a bit lighter with Paul’s endive salad, flavored with green apple, Emmental cheese and honey citron vinaigrette, or a tuna melt with albacore and Gruyère.

You’ll find many of the brunch delights on the dinner menu as well, but please explore, as you’ll find so many substantial courses. Towering above all others is the Hundred Dollar Chicken, whole roasted and served with fingerling potatoes, broccolini, truffle chicken jus and shaved truffle.

Desserts are all great finishers, but we recommend the chocolate board, an assortment of dark and milk chocolates, nuts and fruits.

Paper or Plastic?

AREA15 attraction prompts a multitude of incredulous questions

Omega Mart, inside off-Strip complex of curiosities AREA15, seems like any other grocery store at first. The shelves are fully stocked with purchasable products, the employees are friendly and helpful, the space is well-lit and clean.

Inside, everything seems a little ... off. The produce section offers Aspirational Carrots available by 10-year subscription and absurdly priced Infinity Melons. Slimeapples and Happles offer tactile experiences but are likely deficient in contributing to recommended daily allowances of vitamin D and antioxidants.

Packaged products have unusual names such as Plausible Deniability laundry detergent and Symbiotic Shrimp sports beverage. People enter a small camping tent in a “Re-creation” section and don’t seem to come back out. Blink after seeing someone open a door in the refrigerated section and realizing in the next instance that they are gone. Disappeared.

A stairwell in a corner leads up to an employee “Micro-Breakroom” that feels a little more normal. The employees know what to do, according to the posted Omega Oath. They follow pre-approved service procedures to the point that they work together like the wheels of a shopping cart.

Omega Mart is the next step beyond an avant-garde travel agency, a grocery store where there are multiple hidden portals to a fantastic fantasy world. This world has a speakeasy, Datamosh, where the atmosphere is relaxed and vodka-based Happle Juice is plentiful and delicious. Datamosh is open daily but in November, Omega Mart began hosting monthly “Night Shift” events for adults who like a libation break when shopping for strange and unusual consumer products.

There is so much to explore it’s impossible to see it all in one adventure. A two-visit plan, one without a Boop Card followed by one with, is the best approach. It’s also prudent to set aside a budget for purchasing items such as Blue Chunks at $12.99 per pound or a Gummy Pickle. –Matt Kelemen

Still Energized

Long-rocking band bringing its signature sound downtown

Roger Earl was once quite possibly the hairiest drummer in British rock, but he may now qualify as happiest. Founding Foghat member Earl keeps the legacy of the band alive with killer musicians and an active performance schedule that includes downtown Las Vegas. Bassist Rodney O’Quinn, singer/guitarist Scott Holt and guitarist Bryan Bassett burn through boogie-down classics such as “Slow Ride” and “Fool for the City” that bridged the gap between blues rock and early heavy metal.

Earl, the precision pounder of the band that built that bridge, and singer/ guitarist “Lonesome” Dave Peverett formed Foghat with slide player Rod Price and bassist Tony Stevens. Their 1972 debut, Foghat, was an instant hit. A cover of Willie Dixon’s “I Just Want to Make Love to You” exemplified the souped-up sound that the band expanded on with Foghat (Rock and Roll) Foghat’s fourth album, Energized, included “Wild Cherry,” a track that has nothing to do with the band that scored

a No. 1 hit in 1976 with “Play That Funky Music.” That song’s memorable seven-note riff was played by former Wild Cherry guitarist Bassett. Peverett and Price passed in 2000 and 2005, respectively, but Bassett shares Price’s passion for playing slide on Gibson SG guitars, bringing it all back home in more ways than one. –Matt

An Affair to Remember

Lavo’s Saturday brunch is one over-the-top party

To the right, ladies are dancing on their chairs. To the left, sparklers are waving in the air, carried by a parade of cocktail servers escorting a magnum of champagne to a table. In front, the DJ is spinning base-thumping house music. To the back, a table consumes a 3-pound lobster frittata and the

biggest cocktail you’ve ever seen, The Ultimate Bloody Mary. It’s just another Saturday afternoon at the bacchanalian affair known as Lavo Party Brunch, a nightclub experience taken into the daytime hours. There are many reasons why this party, now in its 13th season, finds success year after year.

24 | 2.5.23 Las Vegas Magazine Party images by Global Media Group Cheers

Since it is technically a brunch, let’s talk food and drink first:

Enjoy breakfast favorites like red velvet pancakes, the breakfast calzone, chicken & waffles and avocado toast; There are all-day noshes like penne seafood Alfredo, chicken Parmigiana, pizzas and spaghetti carbonara;

The “Make It Epic” section of the menu shines with over-the-top dishes like a truffle slider trio or buttered-poached king crab Benedict;

Don’t miss the 1-pound wagyu meatball and the seafood plateau

grande, overflowing with an ocean’s bounty of treats;

That Ultimate Bloody Mary we mentioned comes in a giant goblet with a bottle of Belvedere vodka, with fresh San Marzano tomatoes, lemon juice, aged balsamic, horseradish and spices; Go for broke with the $1,095 Chef’s Catch from the bottle menu. It includes an assortment of king crab, snow crab, jumbo shrimp, oysters, lobster cocktail and Kaluga caviar flanked by handcrafted shots made with Avión tequila and Absolut Elyx vodka;

Bottle presentation parades mean all eyes in the venue are on your group as servers light up the path with sparklers while carrying everything from bottles of brut and rosé to bottles of Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque champagne and Volcán X.A. tequila.

Rounding out the experience is the venue itself—Lavo has an expansive patio that overlooks the Las Vegas Strip, and during the party brunch the lights get real low, strobe lights pierce the air and confetti cannons shoot out rainbows of color.

Thanks to his expansive knowledge of EDM genres, resident DJ Jason Lema keeps his partiers raving into the afternoon with a varied house-music mix. Lavo Party Brunch also puts the visual revelry in guests’ hands by supplying glow sticks, inflatable toys, whistles, glow batons, bubbles, and fun and funky accessories to wear.

Spotted around the venue are costumed performers and sexy dancers, and yes, you are encouraged to get up on your table and dance along with them—remember, this is a party in every sense of the word. –

Friends With Benefits

Danielle DellaValle-Zaist is many things. Currently, she’s the general manager of nightlife and activations for MGM Grand, New York-New York and Excalibur. She’s been a professional dancer and toured the world; she’s been a bartender; and she’s been a Coyote (a particular point of personal pride).

She joined the Coyote Ugly bar at New York-New York when it first opened its doors in 2001, and for nine years she danced, bartended and choreographed all the dance routines. After her run, she left to pursue management

DellaValle-Zaist

roles at various bars and restaurants across the Strip before rejoining the bar in 2014—this time in a management role. Now DellaValle-Zaist not only oversees the venue but the nightlife entertainment across all three properties.

“But Coyote Ugly is my baby—21 years worth,” she says. “There’s something special about Coyote Ugly—it has always empowered women and allows us to be who we are and grow into ourselves. Even the women that come here can dance on the bar and shine and let it all go. Our Coyotes help people live

their best lives. It’s a wild night out and everyone feeds on the energy here.”

Besides her love for the bar that was inspired by the 2000 movie of the same name, DellaValle-Zaist also loves the nightlife industry.

“You really have to love nightlife,” she says. “My job is a passion—it inspires me every day. With nightlife I’m able to be unapologetically who I am and it’s great. If you truly love it, I think you can have a huge, long career in nightlife in Las Vegas.” DellaValle-Zaist is certainly proof of that. –Kiko Miyasato

From quality to comfort, you’ll appreciate all Jack Binion’s Steak offers

Although in this modern era you’ll find some restaurants that sacrifice comfort for style, you’ll find no such travesty at Jack Binion’s Steak. The restaurant is nestled down a short hallway, and

you’re greeted by a bar that invites you to sit down and stay awhile. Past a wall of wine, you’ll find two intimate dining rooms, with “Jack Binion’s Steak” emblazoned on a neon sign on the back

wall. Once you’re seated, your server will get down to business, offering up suggestions on house specialties and best bets.

Enjoy a classic cocktail like the T.O.D. Manhattan, with Rittenhouse rye, Carpano Antica sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters and a Luxardo cherry or a trendy item like the chocolate espresso martini with Stoli Vanil vodka, espresso, Kahlua and a bit of chocolate syrup. Oh, so yummy. For a really fabulous start, try The Boss’s Old Fashioned, an inventive drink that’s smoked with cherrywood right in front of you. Along with Woodford Reserve bourbon, sugar, two types of bitters and a splash of soda, the fragrance is an integral ingredient.

Please order the ketchup-spiced house potato chips and dip—the housemade chips have an incredible flavor, as

does the pepper jack cheese fondue, and that flavor certainly belies the simplicity of the dish. To wow the whole table, order Jack Binion’s colossal seafood tower, a beautifully built edifice constructed with the freshest seafood available.

The signature Bloody Mary Shaken & Stirred wedge salad comes with a vinaigrette, which is shaken tableside by your server. It looks like a Bloody Mary, and the flavor is much like the drink—it’s even served with accoutrements like blue cheese-stuffed olives, bacon and fried green tomato.

Signature entrées like slow-roasted prime rib in three sizes, trés tender filet mignon, and wagyu rib cap can be enhanced by lump crab, shrimp scampi or a decadent lobster tail, plus sauces from chimichurri to béarnaise.

Other classic steakhouse dishes like rotisserie chicken and scallops are sure to leave you fully satisfied. The half chicken comes with bourbon barbecue baked beans, an excellent accompaniment. Black pepper cream shrimp is exactly what is sounds like, and the polenta cake it is served with is a welcome addition.

There are plenty of sides to round out any corners you might have, from Jack Binion’s baked potato (a massive spud with a boat of toppings) to the ranch-spiced onion strings. Hope these beauties come out early so you can pick at them the entire dinner.

Should you have dessert? Yes—yes you should! Crème brûlée, banana cream pie and cheesecake will tempt you, but the apple cobbler is delish, served with a sweet biscuit and ice cream. And the chocolate layer cake is enormous! It’s a decadent slice, covered in chocolate buttercream frosting with pretzel streusel and a bourbon white chocolate sauce. It’s best shared, but you might have to forego the cobbler then, and that would be a tragedy. Order both.

Let the lovely ladies of Fantasy at Luxor fulfill your desires

in Las Vegas, and if you’re down to get a little naughty there’s only one place to be—at Fantasy

This topless show spreads (ahem) its sexiness all over the theater, thanks to a cast of tempting, talented women and one beautiful and cheeky host (whose singing chops rival those of Christina Aguilera). Come couples and singles (ahem), Fantasy is a show that’s always packed with both sexes and lovers of every preference. It’s amazing how loose (ahem) people get during this show, making it a quintessential Vegas experience. It’s a show where the participation from the audience is half the fun in between the next sexual anticipation. For a little over an hour, the cast consumes the theater with daring dalliances and bedroom reveries, giving the audience plenty of skin to satisfy.

During Fantasy, you’ll be dazzled by a series of vignettes that not only reveal the beautiful bodies of the cast—“The more noise you make, the more they take o ,” says host Lorena Peril—but also their athleticism, dance skills and siren-like ability to turn on even the most prudish. What helps put this passion for the flesh over the top is the Broadway-caliber choreography.

Sexual, sensual fantasies are played out onstage, aided by role-playing costumes that tease but really excite when they’re peeled o to reveal

even more. There are cowgirls and schoolgirls mixed with business suits and lingerie, and barely there burlesque outfits following leather-andlace costuming. You’ll get pole dancing, aerial dancing and salsa dancing. You’ll get writhing and romping. You’ll get hair tossing, booty shaking and leg kicking. And most of all, you’ll get turned on.

Each number is set to familiar pop music, and Peril fi lls in with her vocals periodically with impressive renditions of songs like The Police’s “Roxanne” and James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World.”

To give audiences a breather, and a chance for the ladies to regroup, comedy magician Murray Sawchuck takes the stage halfway through the show to amuse with some impressive tricks that keep in line with the show’s R-rated theme. Peril also steps in solo periodically to use her hosting skills to explore the audience, stepping down into the aisles to meet with people—careful, because she’s spicy and quick-witted! She loves to look for the most horny to play with, the most shy to break them out of their box and the most-coupled to get them to fly their freak flags high. She’ll also search for the loudest, most rambunctious volunteer to join the cast onstage for a comedic interlude.

It’s all these magnificent moments that make Fantasy the perfect carnal carnival of pleasures, and tonight’s the night to join in.

In Vegas’ food halls, chefs and celebrities give diners elevated menus

You may notice a growing trend in Las Vegas, and it’s a delicious one. The oft-maligned food court has begun growing up, and in the past few years has seen an evolution into the food hall. Celebrities and chefs have their own o erings at these smaller venues that feature communal seating areas. In Las Vegas, you’ll find them in major resorts and smaller hotels—check out some of the highlights of these foodie havens at the Aria, Fremont Hotel & Casino, The Cosmopolitan and Resorts World Las Vegas.

One of the newest venues is Proper Eats Food Hall at Aria in the former bu et space, a light, airy, upscale place. At Proper Eats, you’ll find names that you might recognize from other areas of the country, like Egghead, a Tao Group Hospitality import from New York, cooking breakfast classics with a gourmet twist, and Wexler’s Deli, an L.A. legend o ering

grilled, handcrafted pastrami on rye. Shalom Y’all’s Mediterranean cuisine is perfect for sharing.

Get tonkatsu, miso ramen and crispy eggplant bao buns at Laughing Buddha; gourmet pizza at Pizzaoki, from superstar DJ Steve Aoki; fried chicken sandwiches and K-Tots at Food Network star Judy Joo’s Seoul Bird; and sushi from Temaki, a new

concept from Clique Hospitality. In the center of it all is Proper Bar, which serves up handcrafted cocktails.

A smaller concept is Fremont Food Hall at Fremont Hotel & Casino downtown, with several options that elevate its food scene. Roli Roti specializes in rotisserie-cooked chicken that created a sensation in the Berkeley, Calif., food truck scene; and CRAFTKitchen, where you’ll find churro-style wa es and crispy avocado tacos.

Tomo Noodles o ers a variety of Asian-inspired items like shoyu chicken ramen, Hawaiian-style wonton mien and boba tea. And a Southern favorite, Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders, brings the burgeoning chain’s first location to Vegas, delivering the “filet mignon of chicken.”

M’s Fried Chicken

The Cosmopolitan’s Block 16 Urban Food Hall has been around a few years, and it's a hit. It’s tucked away on the second floor near Marquee Nightclub and o ers excellent options, from Lardo’s meaty sandwiches like the Bronx Bomber (smothered with house provolone "whiz") to Nashville export Hattie B’s Hot Chicken

There’s a speakeasy, too, Ghost Donkey, which o ers food options like tru e nachos. District: Donuts. Sliders. Brew. has huge, tasty pastries, inventive sandwiches and craft co ees, while next door is Tekka Bar: Handroll and Sake, serving up highly popular sushi. And David Chang’s Bang Bar lets you grab favorite flavors from Momofuku, including a fermented chickpea dip with fresh hot flatbread to dip with.

When Resorts World Las Vegas opened in 2021, it featured Zouk Group’s 24,000-square-foot showpiece, Famous Foods Street Eats, and brought in a ton of options from chefs around the globe. The food hall stretches in a U-shaped design, with two circular bars in the center, one featuring beer and cocktails while the other, Sweet Eats, serves desserts. The awesome options include Kuru Kuru Pa Yakitori from Steve and Kevin Aoki; Pepita’s Kitchen, from Dedet de

la Fuente (you’ll know this one by the whole roasted pig on display); Geylang Claypot Rice, with chicken and beef options—the original location earned a Michelin Plate; Streetbird Las Vegas, with poultry recipes from Michelin award winner Marcus Samuelsson like M's Fried Chicken; and FUHU Shack, where you can get duck burritos.

If the Center Bar doesn’t have your preferred cocktail, check out Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den, a speakeasy with some of the most talked-about drinks in town. There are lots of other options here, from barbecue to Springleaf Prata Place’s Indian cuisine. It would be hard not to find something amazing—Tiger Sugar even has a stall here, so get that first and sample your way around the perimeter.

So, like your grandma used to say, “Eat, eat. You’re so skinny.”

Sunday

The Big Game gets bigger every year while watching it becomes increasingly complicated. There were once three television networks, of which one would have the rights to broadcast the high-

est-rated sports event of the year with advertisers footing the bill. Now apps, subscriptions, streaming services and social media compete for eyeballs. This makes Las Vegas the most ideal destination outside of State Farm Stadium to view Super Bowl LVII as the game will be shown on practically every available screen on or near the Strip. Viewing parties, game day dining and drink specials are the three elements of a superlative Vegas Super Bowl Sunday. The STRAT o ers access to a “tailgate-inspired” Big Showdown Bu et

and state-of-the-art video walls inside PT’s Wings & Sports and William Hill Sports Book . A smorgasbord featuring boneless wings, bacon-wrapped hot dogs and build-your-own nachos will be available high-altitude at The View Lounge as well.

Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas serves up all-you-can-eat Bavarian-style fare in its beer hall and garden setting, with a party package that includes homemade macaroni and cheese, braumeister bier chili, Bavarian goulash soup and golden brown Jägerschnitzel.

Paradise Road neighbor Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has all options in its restaurant roster, focused on no-limit menus with Casa Calavera, chef Kris Yenbamroong’s Night + Market, Nick Mathers’ Kassi Beach House and One Steakhouse providing per-person pricing for their game-day menus.

Pub 365 at Tuscany Suites and Casino o ers another o -Strip option that beer lovers can drink in, as it takes its name from the 365 craft beers it serves up alongside traditional pub food.

Caviar Bar at Resorts World Las Vegas has “high-end football favorites” including Korean-style wings, wagyu sliders, lobster rolls and a half-rack of ribs, while nearby Carversteak has a tantalizing array of delectables, from fried devilled eggs to fondue-loaded french fries.

Derek Stevens has a Big Game Bash planned for Circa Resort & Casino and The D. Circa claims bragging rights to having the world’s largest sportsbook with a 78-million-pixel, high-definition screen and stadium seating. Circa’s Stadium Swim, meanwhile, promises optimal viewing for pyrotechnic and visual e ects due to its outdoor big-screen setting. For an even more you-are-there feel, the Downtown Watch Zone at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center adjacent to The D is another outdoor option with reservable man caves.

Strip sportsbooks from MGM Grand on the south end to Sahara Las Vegas

on the northern tip are sure bets for maximum excitement. The betting mecca at Caesars Palace may be packed, but passers-by can still feel the electricity and catch plays. Party spot highlights include Bound Cocktail Lounge at The Cromwell, Brooklyn Bowl at The Linq Promenade, Libertine Social at Mandalay Bay, Montecristo Cigar Bar at Caesars, The Nomad Bar and Primrose at Park MGM, and Public House at Luxor. Wherever you go, party hosts are always on point—because dropping the ball is not an option.

Exclusive Luxury

Red Rock Country Club offers privacy and high-end upgrades

The Red Rock Country Club is, quite possibly, the height of luxury in Las Vegas, a sprawling, master-planned community where elegance exudes from every corner.

It’s host to a 7,001-yard, par-72 private mountain course and a 6,883-yard, par-72 public arroyo course, both designed by Arnold

Palmer and featuring rolling fairways, dramatic water features and multitiered greens. And a home has become available in this desert-based paradise, one with plenty of room for both large families and large get-togethers.

Listed by Madison Blau Benshimon of IS LUXURY, this

5,037-square-foot, two-story, Mediterranean-inspired palatial estate, located on a double-gated street in Red Rock Country Club, features five en suite bedrooms, six bathrooms and a three-car garage— plenty of room for even the largest families. As you pull up to this exclusive-feeling home, you’ll immedi-

ately be struck by the immaculately landscaped courtyard—and that’s just the beginning.

This home has a little bit of everything, from a custom-made, built-in wine storage wall to an oversized loft bar and a balcony overlooking the backyard. As you walk through, it’s hard to not notice the hard-wood flooring, upgraded white cabinetry and designer light fixtures throughout. This space’s timeless, classic aesthetic just beckons you to invite company over. And odds are it will be a lot of company!

The home’s real centerpiece is its kitchen, full of touches that will have you spending countless hours of enjoyment with friends and family, from brand-new, top-of-the-line appliances to an oversized island.

All bedrooms are spacious and have endless possibilities, but it’s the primary suite that really stands out, with a fireplace and spa-like bath (complete with separate his and her vanities, closets and a central jetted tub).

You look forward to spending plenty of time outdoors as well,

thanks to a backyard with a built-in outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, a pool and a spa, not to mention unobstructed views of both the golf course and the mountains.

Other amenities available at Red Rock Country Club include a 24-hour, guard-gated community and close proximity to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and the Las Vegas Strip. –Ken Miller
