Marketing & Communication
Marketing & Communication ensures communications are aligned with GMP+ International’s objectives and meet the needs of our stakeholders. To achieve this, they gather insights on stakeholder needs, develop and implement marketing and communication strategies, and support the wider team to communicate with our community.
Making information easier to find
What insights did you gain from the community this year?
As part of our three-year business plan, we set ourselves the goals of continuously increasing the value we add for our GMP+ Community. In order to track these goals, our team led on partnering with Ipsos to conduct two surveys. We invited GMP+ certified companies and partners (CBs, GMP+ Auditors and Registered Consultants) to evaluate our products and services. We were pleased that both our companies and partners are very satisfied, giving our services an average rating of 8 out of 10.
Lots of work has been happening behind the scenes, what has that meant for your team?
Based on earlier insights we knew we had to make it easier for the community to find the information they need. Working with specialists, including UX designers, we did a deep dive on the specific needs of our users, and over the year developed and tested solutions that will make it easier to use our website, portal, and databases. Our Ipsos survey confirmed that these developments are in line with what the community is asking for.
What else has the team done this year?
We have worked hard to ensure we have a professional presence in all our activities. From webinars, to presentations and newsletters, and publications like this one. We want to create a positive and professional image for our organisation and community.
We’ve also worked to make our communications more aligned and flexible. As well as redesigning our scheme logos so they are easier to recognise as part of GMP+ International’s brand identity, we’ve also integrated our newsletter and CRM systems. This means in future we will be able to share more relevant and tailored information with different groups, and members of the community can indicate which topics they would like to receive news about (e.g. aflatoxin, transport, notifications, or withdrawals, etc.)
