Issue of green living and attractivenes of geometrical form drive the designers to make clothing from their own pattern printed fabric. Minerals, lava, rocks from volcanic eruptions inspires me to gain visualization from it textures and geometrical features.

UCENT “Corrosive Translucent” is my graduate collection back in 2011. Inspired by chemical reaction, natural textures, optical illusions, Pollock and expressionism, and experimental work of art. Some features of this collection embraces the heritage of Indonesia’s traditional fabric and brings it to delightfully new levels of modernity.
Focusing on the surface design techniques, these work were created in hand painting techniques. In this area of working techniques, I was able to conquer an excessive number of techniques when it came to a very simple meaning of painting. Using variety of tools and colouring agents, I transferred the techniques on few kind of silk and polyester fabric, applying layer by layer to get the work done. Elsewhere, the use of pop up printing, manual embroidery, and stamping were done to accomplish the desirable effects.
