ROSALLY PTE LTD Rosally Construction Waste Chute System Rosally construction waste chute system is made up of sections of hopper and chute manufactured from highgrade HDPE, with 6mm thick walls. The chutes are connected by steel chains to form a flexible tube that is hung from the side of the building. The structure is typically supported by frame and bracket secured to the building structure or scaffolding. The chutes are fitted with steel brackets and heavy duty chains which are tested to 1000kg. Er. Louis Tay Heng Hock Managing Director, Africa and City Management, Division of Surbana Er. Tay has 30 years of experience in building consultancy business. As an engineer with Singapore’s Housing and Development Board from 1983 to 2003, he played a key role in developing pre-fabrication technology for high-rise buildings and was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 1997 for his contributions. Since joining Surbana in 2003, he had played a critical role in growing the company’s business in the Middle East and Africa and now specialises in sustainable development consultancy and urban management.

Albert Teng General Manager, HollandBukit Panjang Town Council; Coordinating General Manager for 15 Town Councils Albert Teng is the Secretary/General Manager of Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council and the Coordinating Secretary for 15 Town Councils in Singapore, managing over 50,000 units of public housing flats and has more than 20 years of experience in public housing management and maintenance. He is a sector coordinator for NTUC Job Recreation / Best Sourcing Initiative Committee and a member in the Tripartite Clusters for Conservancy and Landscape Industries to develop Progressive Wage Model, and improve productivity and standard for these two Industries. Mieke De Schepper Senior Managing Director, Philips Lighting Singapore Mieke De Schepper is the Managing Director of Philips Lighting Singapore and is responsible for managing and growing the business in Singapore, Myanmar, Brunei and other Frontier Markets. Stan Ho Tzung-Han Advisor, Green Trade Project Office, Ministry of Economics Affairs (MOEA), Taiwan Stan Ho is a LEED Accredited Professional specializing in sustainable energy and energy efficient building design, and is the 10th ASHRAE BEMP (Building Energy Modeling Professional) in Asia. He studied Physics at National Taiwan University where he completed his thesis on Solar Cells. Since joining green building field, he has completed energy modeling and analysis for multiple projects, including residence, commercial building, FAB, hospital, hotel and theater. Stan, currently in GreenJump Sustainable Design Consulting Company, is developing the energy modeling service by long distance cooperation through the world.

Winston Yew Deputy Director, WSHC, Ministry of Manpower, Singapore Winston Yew has more than 30 years of experience in policy formulation, standards setting and operations management in the field of Occupational Safety and Health. He is concurrently involved with a number of committees of the national standards setting agency Spring Singapore. Derrick Hong General Manager, Environmental Market Solutions Inc. Derrick Hong has experience spanning over 20 years in industrial and commercial companies and he is currently a General Manager of (EMSI) Environmental Market Solutions Inc. He is a Certified Green Mark Manager (GMM), Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) and Qualified Energy Service Specialist (QuESS) for Energy project. His work is mainly focused on building sustainable energy conversation programs for building owners leading to energy efficiency, Green mark, LEED, ISO 50001 certification and carbon footprint assessment. Derrick is also the working group member of the SS ISO 50001 appointed by Standards Council of Singapore to assist in the preparation of this standard and a qualified ISO 50001 Lead Auditor.

Kamlesh Ramchand Head of Security Solutions, DOCOMO interTouch Pte Ltd Kamlesh has over 10 years of experience in the security industry, having held senior leadership positions in the public and private sectors. As a Singapore Police Force scholar, he also served as a senior officer (last held rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police) in several postings including heading the policy and development unit for the private security industry in what was then known as the Security Industry Regulatory Department. He also possesses internationally recognised certifications in training, project management, business continuity planning and is one of the select few ASIS-certified Physical Security Professional (PSP) in Singapore.

Graham Tier Head of Property Facilities Management, Hong Kong Jockey Club; Member, RICS Asia World Regional Board Graham Tier has over 20 years experience in Operations and Engineering for many leading international companies such as British American Tobacco, Johnson & Johnson, McPherson’s, Amcor and shares a network with many blue chip organisations internationally. He studied at various intuitions in Australia gaining qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management and Construction management. He holds international qualification in Facilities Management including FMP, CFM, and is a certified trainer for IFMA. He is an active senior professional member of RICS in FM and the former President of the International Facilities management Association in Hong Kong.

Ethan Tan Managing Director, The 8th Pinnacle Pte Ltd Ethan Tan is the Managing Director of The 8th Pinnacle Pte Ltd, where he heads the Consulting Practice Division. He has worked with many infrastructural and IT companies across Asia-Pacific and has taught leadership workshops to Starbucks, Avery-Dennison, Jurong International Holdings, OCBC Bank among others. He is also a Council Member of the Singapore Human Resource Institute, where he is the Chairperson of the Publications Committee. Ethan also sits on the Tripartite Oversight Committee on Workplace Health and Safety.

Noel Chin Principal Manager, Centre for Sustainable Buildings and Construction of BCA Noel joined the public sector 17 years ago and has spent nearly half the time managing the built environment and overseeing building projects. His interest lies in researching and implementing new technologies, and sustainable facilities management. He is a certified Green Mark Manager, Green Mark Facilities Manager and Singapore Certified Energy Manager. He is now with the Building and Construction Authority doing what he likes best.
