Our inspiration sometimes comes from the great designers. The inspiration for this beautiful theme stems from the story of Coco Chanel, who created unrestrictive jersey pieces in the 1920s as well as the classic nautical look. The colours to wear in early spring are the classic navy, offwhite and red, mixed with clear blue and bright orange.

These beautiful memories inspired us to create the Jardin theme, where wild blooms lead your thoughts to delicate soft greens, like new leaves mixed with more intense green shades as well as lavender, palace blue and navy.

The scene is set in an urban jungle, with a mix of African influences from the 1970s Chicago music scene and New York jazz vibes. The essence of the Downtown theme infuses formal style with a cool, carefree feeling. Burnt orange, bright orange, sand, black and off-white are the key colours of these eye-catching but comfortable styles.

Contrasts in light and shade. Black and white. A trend that never goes out of fashion. Stylish and chic in its simplicity. In this theme, we present animal prints in a new and refined way. Crocodile print in black and white viscose crepe chiffon and jersey with giraffe print. You can also discover a small series created in a new 100% linen fabric in tomato red and sea green, as well as a new graphic print on our well-known linen/polyamide fabric.

The woman behind Q’neel It’s safe to say that Ingrid is the designer behind Q’neel. Because Spring / Summer 2020 is her 40th

Q’neel collection. We asked Ingrid three quick questions: Who is the Q’neel woman? She knows good quality and appreciates good design with beautiful details. Her view on sustainability is to buy fewer but better styles that complement and renew her wardrobe and suit her needs. Where did you find inspiration for the collection? For this collection, the inspiration comes through in 6

different themes, all of which focus on contemplation and reflection. For example, for our Simple Chic theme, we were inspired by images/the dream of staying at an idyllic seaside hotel in Denmark. Effortless, Nordic-style interiors and the fabulous light found by the North Sea. This is all reflected in our linen collection and other garments. Nature was also a great source of inspiration for the prints used throughout the entire collection. What gives you that ‘yes!’ feeling in your work? It’s been an exciting journey – and both Q’neel and I have undergone a great deal of evolution over the years. I am passionate about my work as a designer. When one collection is finished, I begin looking forward to starting the next one. It is extremely rewarding to design the Q’neel collections and be part of a strong team.

It’s finally summer and the sun is shining. The temperature is nice and warm, and you need a lightweight, cooling summer wardrobe for holidays, everyday use or garden parties. Paradise Express means colourful viscose prints, floral patterns on jersey, stripes and abstract prints. All in vibrant colours.

Exquisite qualities in natural materials Jersey and linen are must-haves for your wardrobe. At Q’neel, we understand the different materials, their properties and qualities. Jersey and linen are well-loved classics in our spring / summer styles. Why? Read on and get the answer here. Jersey is comfortable to wear because it has elasticity and allows freedom of movement. We have styles in a variety of jersey fabrics. Our favourite is the lightweight single jersey in 95% viscose and 5% elastane. Jersey is almost wrinkle-free, so you can spend your time on more enjoyable things than ironing. Wash on a low-spin cycle and hang to dry. Voilà! Linen is the epitome of summer. Our famous linen fabric consists of 90% linen and 10% polyamide, which makes it very user-friendly. We recommend that you wash your linen garments by hand or use a gentle wool programme with a small amount of wool detergent. Try tumbledrying the garments for 5-10 minutes, put them on a hanger, and lightly steam once dry. Our linen fabric is a light, airy material that’s a delight to wear – especially on warm summer days.
