THE SPIRIT OF HIS DREAM BY EVANGELIST ALVEDA C. KING
What has become of the dream of Prophet Martin Luther King, Jr? For decades people in America and around the world have celebrated the life and the teachings of the prophet and dreamer, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unless one is a scholar of
the Bible and other spiritual writings, Prophet King may be the only example of a divinely inspired visionary in the hearts of people who are used to receiving messages from the internet, social media, the radio, and other media in our fastpaced world.
NEICE'S NOTES
WHAT HAS BECOME OF ...
With the onset of enhanced special effects that bring the supernatural to life on movie screens, some may not find it so remarkable that men and women throughout the ages have received divine messages in dreams and visions. Yet the process by which the Spirit of God communicates to His prophets and visionaries has always been and will always remain‌ remarkable.
AMERICAN DREAM? In 1963, MLK proclaimed: “I Have a Dream.” Decades later, although the masses cannot always accurately recall nor repeat what Prophet King’s dream was, they remember that King had a dream. In his “dream speech,” Prophet King said: “It is the American dream.”
Wow.
Today those could be fighting words, depending on who is listening. We are living in a time when the “American dream” is a promise for some and a nightmare for others.
