IN PURANAS

a)ABSORBERS / CONES OF TIME AND DAMARU : The shortest observable bit of time is described as 'here and now'. Before this is the past and ahead is the future. The relativistic view of the world enables us to abstract from our experiences of motions, these parameters which tend themselves to know through mathematical representation (Fig. a) With a two-dimensional image of a three - dimensional cones or absorbers, one can depict the history of one particle moving in the plane X and Y axis. These cones / absorbers visually appear like Shiva's Damaru. Along the coordinates are plotted distances that are proportional to time intervals between a reference 'here-now' and a past future instant of time. Thus the three coordinates X,Y, and T of any point in this model uniquely identifies the position of a particles at any instant. Because of the physical restriction on the relative speeds of the moving matter, all physically reliable particle positions must be associated with print within the volume of the 'light cone'. With respect to 'here-now', the world of events becomes divides into regions of past and future and of 'absolute' elsewhere. Events in the third region cannot influence the 'where-now' nor can they be influenced by what happens here and now. These time cones bear verisimilitude with Shiva's Damaru which has two tones attached to . A swift motion produces two sounds more or less simultaneously indicating dissolution and creation.


The time - absorbers appear like hemispheres while the time- cones expressed by Damaru appear like the piece of water melon cut and placed over the same melon is Indian fruit markets. They also resemble the three storied structure of 'Tripura' designed by the architect Maya. The hard - green (iron) corresponds to the outer layer of the water melon followed by white (silver) and red (golden, fire like) in the center. The three- layered 'Vedi' with fire in the center is yet another example of verisimilitude. For the fiery end or our-earth as well as of the universe in the black hole (which turns into a white hole in the Cosmic Egg - the Brahmand 13, it is said that the end of Prathivi is in the Vedi (Yagnic fire of the), Vedi for the likeness of their three- fold structure 14. The three _Padas of Gaayatri helps us in deriving the symbol of Dharma and science. Dharmic symbols of astronomical parlance of time absorbers are reflected by the symbolic holding of 'Damaru' by the dancing Shiva or the hour-glass used in ancient times on the very principle of verisimilitude and effect. Damaru with a single motion produces two sounds of creation and destruction. The continuous play indicates the monkey dance of Hanumana for entertaining Rama. Also the continuous interactions (Yagna) of the quarks forming larger sub-atomic particles 14 in the womb of the black hole at exceedingly high temperature are indicated with the involvement of a modified form of Varna Meru. The black hole at Creation is called Vasundhara Meru which was born with mountains and became extremely hard because it was a part of the Brahmand (Cosmic Egg). b) ARROWS OF TIME AND SHIVA'S TRISHUL 15: Astrophysicists conceive a concept of time in term of three irreversible arrows of time, namely. (1) Thermodynamic (Agni.), (2) Cosmological ( Narayana), and (3) Electromagnetic (Indra / Soma) Shiva's Trishul These arrows of time, pointing in the same direction, are unified in the cosmic unified field of the Cosmic Egg in the form of 'Trishul ' associated with Shiva. Hence Shiva acquires the name of 'Kala' and 'Mahakala'. In Tantra Shastra the cosmological arrow of time pierces a lemon representing a black hole in one of the concept of Trilok as an “Intelligent Design� cosmic unification.


Maya the architect of the demons, prepared a blueprint of Tripura having three castles one above the other 15. At the base was made of iron called Lohapura and was for Tarkasura. Above this was the Rajatapura (made of silver) for Vidhunmali and at the top was golden Mayapura for Maya himself. It was the counter reflection of Trikuti of the Gods (Devataas). These three cities built at the conjugation of Moon and Pushya Nakshatra gets staggered and again come is alignment at a similar conjugation in cycles of time.

When the astrological conjugation reoccurs in the cycle (like the wheel of a chariot) of time, Shiva destroyed the three cities by aligning the three arrows of time. In the front of the arrow was “Agni”, at the tail end was Indra” with


“Narayana� on the arrow it self. The city of demons was thus destroyed before Creation with a supernova like explosion..

c) RAMA

AVATAR AND THREE ARROWS OF TIME : There is yet another story associated with self - guided `missile' the arrows of time 16. After the victory of Shri Rama over Ravana, Hanuman obtained a boon from Rama. According to the boon, no one would die in the presence of Hanuman while reciting the name of Rama. The boon was obtained for saving the life of Kashi Naresh who went to congratulate Rama for his victory and did not observe the etiquettes of touching the feet of Rishis present there (as directed by Hanuman himself). After obtaining the boon, Hanuman asked Kashi Naresh to remain immersed in the river waters. When the first arrow came and as advised by Hanumana, Naresh continuously recited 'Jai Rama: ' When the second arrow come he recited 'Jai Rama, Jai Sita Rama' and when the third arrow came he was reciting 'Jai Rama, Jai Sita Rama, Jai Hanumana'. Thus he was saved from each arrow that returned back to Rama. In cosmic unification Kamadeva carried five flowery arrows representing the five senses of passion. He was burnt by Shiva with the result that only the chemical elements could be created in the beginning. For further creation Ardhnarishwar had to project himself and revive Kamadeva for creation of living beings. Rama is the epitome of Dharma [Valmiki Ramayana 3.37.13]

When we take a square enclosing a number, we can get a finite element used in structural engineering. We can derive the symbol of the binaries guru(s) and laghu (1) by separating these elements. At the three angles we can place the three bytes of Gaayatri. Rama is a combination of Sat and Raj Gunas while Krishna that of Sat and Tama Gunas.

THERMODYNAMIC STATUS (vfXu"kksekReda txr~ A): The time-cones in the above concept or absorbers, as they are some times called, can be obtained by cutting a water-melon deeply as a square pyramidal piece to represent the quality of the fruit as is displayed in Indian vegetable fruit markets. The cone thus obtained has a hard outer skin (iron like), followed by a white (silver) and then third inner core (fire - like). This depicts the 'Tripura' or a three - layered 'Vedi ' with fire in the center representing the process of 'Yagna' in the hub (center) of the Prathivi/Earth/black hole cum white hol e [Atharva Veda 9.10.14] and the end of the universe is in 'Vedi' :[Rig Veda, 10.164.35] In the center of the Prathivi / black hole cum white hole 'Agni' (fire/thermal energy) shines like gold and as hidden 'Surya' illuminates from the d)


centre of the Aakash Prathivi. Agni is the aggregate of all Tejas (effulgence). There should be no doubt about it: [Vaayu Purana 32.83] Hence the studies of the Vedas should be undertaken by considering the thermodynamic status. (vfXu"kksekReda txr~ A): That is why Rig Veda Starts with the Agni's Sukta [R.V. 1.1.1] Quantum cosmology allows the possibility of creations not just one but as infinite number of universes out of nothing at all. The universe can be visualized as an exploding balloon by a tiny piece of narrow throat forming a blister connected to the universe by a narrow neck - a black hole. Sri Krisna is in the invisible Grand Unified Field of this black hole cum white hole (symbol 6) which reveals nature by gulping every thing within the reach of its field, as revealed to Arjuna. [Bhagwat Gita 9.7] The astronomers are studying physical objects having their own unified fields. The prints of Nature in the Cosmic Field can be visualized in the Viraat (gigantic) form according to the principle of Sadrashyata and Ekataa (verisimilitude) keeping in view the thermodynamic status.
