PAST - PRESENT (2012 - 2015): From 2013 - 2015 we leased phone charging kiosks to provide basic phone charging services to communities via a network of rural entrepreneurs. • Built a rural network of over 30 local entrepreneurs • Developed corporate partnerships with Unilever TZ, Tigo and Ubongo Kids • Provided jobs and training for youth in partnership with economic development orgs. • Developed manufacturing partnerships to facilitate implementation at scale • Co-designed and developed electricity & connectivity solutions with communities • Worked with network to understand needs and develop 2.0 media hub concept 10


FUTURE (2016/17): After hearing feedback from our network of entrepreneurs and their communities we are excited to build on our learnings in 2016 and beyond to offer Juabar 2.0 solar media hubs. • Deploy 250 units to corporate and NGO customers in Tanzania • Build on existing corporate partnerships with Unilever, Tigo and Ubongo Kids
