2021 TORREYS FALL SPORTS LA JOLLA COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL

>>A MESSAGE FROM THE TRACK & FIELD 2021-20 LA JOLLA COUNTRY DAY BASKETBALL HEAD COACH

This year’s track and field team is full of newcomers and multi-sport student athletes. They have come out to challenge themselves and test their mental and physical fortitude. Our strong senior class will lead the way: Jenna Hernandez, Ethan Estrada, Alexcia Doak, Daven Gujral, Grace Karmazin-Scheider, Andrew Kuhn, and Jazzy Anousinh. The Distance Squad has grown and looks for guidance from the experienced Daven, Grace, and Andrew. They are passing the squad to a strong junior, Paul Criado. Sam Alligood and Jenna Hernandez, multi-sport student athletes, look to increase their marks in the throws, providing leadership for a young throwing team. Senior Ethan Estrada and newcomer Jordan Kinkead are ready to lead the young pole vaulters to new heights. Juniors Stuart Needle and sophomore Micah Afshar lead the way over the hurdles while junior Capri Nova, senior Jazzy Anousinh, and sophomores John Guckian and Catherine Gizzo blaze a trail on the track. I look forward to a successful season with the team setting new personal records and strengthening their passion for track and field. Go Torreys!!
