ABOUT GO GLOBAL ART Go Global Art is a London-based art marketing platform and sales forum for the best emerging artists around the globe. Dedicated to providing exposure for emerging artists and galleries around the world, Go Global Art makes it possible for galleries and artists to reach out to new audiences - the growing number of new collectors and customers who purchase art online – and for buyers to discover artworks and artists that otherwise would be hard to find. Many people purchasing artwork will take into consideration the style of the room or area in which the painting will be hung or the sculpture installed. To make things a little easier, we have done our research into the hottest interior design trends of 2015‌and cherry-picked some of the best and most suitable artworks for each, from our incredible Go Global Art selection.

THE NATURE WITHIN Outdoors, indoors Oversized interior landscaping is looking to become a huge design trend in 2015, with salvaged wood and rustic metals also making a bold appearance. Embracing organic elements inside the home is a great way to celebrate nature and incorporate refreshing styles in new ways, even by adding just a few houseplants. Photographic imagery and large paintings of natural wildlife is another strong theme that will be present within the interior design trends of 2015. Choose a natural palette of patterned greens, or paintings created with an organic, freeflowing brushstroke.

POLLOCK PAINTERLY Paint on the floor, the walls and the ceiling Whether it looks like a Motherwell or a Monet, a rug that is visually fluid with irregular patterns breaks the grid of rectangular rooms and furniture. Many such rugs, such as Marc Phillips’s shown here, are true art pieces. Floor décor that shimmers and change colour should be matched on the walls. Go for a splash of expressive colour, such as Nara Walker’s exuberant canvases. Keep furniture, wallpaper and lighting minimalist to avoid the overall design feeling too ‘messy’. Let your artworks stand out as real conversation starters. Above: Rugs by Marc Phillips Right: Floral Affair, 2013 Oil on stretched canvas 102x152x4cm £1,200

POSTER GIRL Retro vintage Tying in with the luxury that the other trends encompass, this season your home accessories should all have flair and originality. The best way is to pick up vintage, one-off pieces that nobody else is likely to have. A vintage armoire or chaise longue are the ultimate statement pieces, but you can also achieve the look with smaller items such as a vintage clock on the mantelpiece or vintage movie posters. Fifties retro is hot right now – think vinyl flooring, muted palettes and popping colours in the ergonomically designed accessories. For artwork, one large painting centrally located in a room is enough to complete the look – think fifties-style comics and the vintage movie poster aesthetic.

INTO AFRICA Wild & Free Bring some warmth into the home through tones of ochre and burnished orange. Compliment the colour spectrum with warmtoned paintings and organic, naturally-created sculpture in a variety of media.
