HYBRID CAFÉ DESIGN STATEMENT NAME : GOH CHONG YUE 0327827 NAME OF HYBRID CAFÉ : DINOMANIA
DESIGN STATEMENT
Dinomania is a dinosaur hybrid cafe. Dinomania means people who has a strong enthusiasm for dinosaurs. It is a centre to bring back the Mezozoic era especially Jurassic era for children, families and even adults. It aims to satisfy dinosaur lovers to explore on the dinosaurs includes the fossils finding which allows users to experience as an archaeologist. Making of miniature dinosaur figures, design your own 3d printing dinosaur, Gyrosphere ride, raptor race with friends, lay a dinosaur egg, genetic experimental lab and so on. The operating hours of Dinomania is from Monday to Sunday at 9am until 7pm. The entrance fee is rm 150 for adults and rm 90 for kids. In addition, we provide family package of 5 members with rm499 only. There is also a café for public; stalls for visitors to have breaks during the exploration of the centre. Dinomania is collaborating with the National History Museum, London. Both our mission is to further the exploration the history of these prehistoric reptiles continues to reveal insights about dinosaurs. By this, we can work internationally to provide expert scientific services regarding dinosaur to society.
REFLECTION
I was glad that I did great in this semester even though it was one of the most challenging tasks in my study. In the beginning, i chose dinosaur because it was not only my favorite topic but also mysterious. The color scheme applied by myself is suitable and interesting compared to last few semester. After all, I really hope that I can spend more time on my design to be more craziness and more vintage. On the manual drawing of my plan and section, I have not did good in the detail part. But it was shown that I could managed to do it faster that before. Lastly, I can said that I enjoyed what I did and learnt. I appreciated my lecturer's efforts putting on me. I will make myself better than in past. Eventually, I felt so good in completing the overall final project. Life will not stop teaching us, so do not stop learning.
