MISCELLANEOUS
In this project we were in that stage of design, where we had been told to explore types of spaces and there functions according to requirements of individual people.
“Public space that manages to create sense of togetherness with its functionally sound planning and also the joyful play of designing which incorporates open, semi open, and close spaces seamlessly and also by providing usual and physical accessibility by connecting each zone that help creates activity and manages to differentiate with the use of natural elements of nature, which includes inclusive of modern and sustainable design concept”
- Central Space
This transformative space invites the eye to seamlessly transition between the indoors and the expansive outdoors, blurring the lines between nature and built environment. Each standing wall, a unique and expressive element, contributes to a cohesive whole, a powerful architectural statement.
The structure emerges organically from the surrounding natural ecosystem, offering visitors an escape from the urban bustle and an immersion in lush greenery.
Bamboo, a sustainable and locally sourced material, forms the structural backbone, ensuring the building’s strength and integrity. Locally sourced clay walls act as a visual screen, creating a delicate interplay of light and shadow while subtly separating the interior spaces from the natural habitat.
The design concept embraces contemporary sustainability principles and draws inspiration from modernist aesthetics, resulting in an architecture that is both timeless and environmentally conscious.”
ELEVATION FROM POUND SIDE
In this project, we were supposed to design and develop temporary housing solutions for construction workers of low income group families and individuals, who keeps migration according to their work requirements.
“This project focuses on designing affordable shelter homes for migrant laborers. The core concept revolves around a strong community space that acts as the central hub, fostering a sense of belonging. The design utilizes modular steel blocks for flexibility and adaptability to changing needs. Puff panels contribute to form and shape, while louvers provide shading. Fabric roofs offer a sustainable and costeffective alternative to traditional roofing materials. The overall design emphasizes community living and empowers residents to adapt the space to their unique needs.”
In this project we had to design Youth center, which includes different spaces with different functions, which creates joyful, interactive and delightful environment for visitors.
“Youth gives feeling of expressing our own thoughts, finding out one’s inner self, living the moment outside of the busy world.”
“The project includes core spaces such as multipurpose hall, cafeteria, gym and indoor space; supportive spaces such as reception area and pathways, and silent spaces such as library and reading area, also creating welcoming and thought environment for youth by creating central open space with soothing sound of water bodies, breezing of trees, and creating sort of gathering space for visitors.”
“Working drawings are the architects’ language, translating dreams into reality.”
“Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.” - Walt Disney
