Honestly Margo

Created with a purpose to inspire young girls and women, and make them feel beautiful at the same time, Margo Gianos and her mom, Irene, have been an unstoppable force, working side-by-side for the last five years, growing their beauty brand. They wanted to also make products with good-for-you ingredients that are paraben-free. Many of the products are comprised of four ingredients or less, which emphasizes the "good for you" aspect of the beauty line. " We chose the name Honestly Margo because our products represent good, wholesome goodness that began with me, Margo, creating our first product. Our products are from us to you and are honestly pure with a pure story.

At the age of 12 years old, Margo created her first product in their home's kitchen. Irene saw an opportunity to encourage, support and guide the drive she saw in young Margo. It was something that Margo created after many attempts and tweaks to come up with the right formula. She loved beauty products, this was something she was interested in using herself, and she knew her friends would love them equally as much. What made you fall in love with creating beauty products Margo? I created Honestly Margo because I love bath and beauty products, and I wanted to create fun, fresh and unique beauty products for Millennials. With each season, and with each new line we've launched, it's been exciting to see others fall in love with our products. Knowing people love what we come out with feels so rewarding!

As a mom what age and moment did you realize your daughter's passion? I saw Margo always coming up with ideas to make money, and she had a knack for business from a young age. After many attempts at creating something, and me telling her to "just be a kid," she began making her lip balms. When she began selling them to her friends, and couldn't make them fast enough to keep up with the demand, I knew this was something I could help her turn into a real business. Why is Honestly Margo different from other brands? Honestly Margo?s story sets it apart from other bath and beauty brands because we make it a mission to create and sell products that are fresh, fun and unique while inspiring and spreading empowerment to other women.

What is your advice to new young entrepreneurs? My advice is to believe in your product and what you want to do because if you don?t believe in what you?re doing, no one else will either. Always work hard, and always look for new people to make connections with along the way. What can we expect in 2019? We?re constantly coming out with fresh, new products, and we are SO excited to be launching more next year while we expand.
