About Me

Born and raised in Berkeley, Soraya’s knowledge of the Bay Area’s different cities and neighborhoods adds to her vast knowledge of the real estate market. Soraya graduated from Macalester College St. Paul, MN with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Communications. She built a career at a large multimillion-dollar catalog retailer under the umbrella of Minnesota Public Radio and Television, as a Technical Trainer, Soraya designed and implemented curriculums used for classrooms and on the job training for thousands of employees. She spent 10 years in the Twin Cities as a successful career woman and dedicated caretaker for her Grandmother Isabel, until she passed in 1995.

Upon her return to California and the Bay Area, Soraya spent 4 years in San Francisco as a professional recruiter in the legal support industry. Soraya’s entrepreneurial spirit then led her to start her own business, Magnolia’s Flower Shop. Her floral boutique expanded into a successful art gallery, which included Shoshoni sculpture shows, featuring the actual artists from Zimbabwe. Finally, Soraya realized that Real Estate has captured her heart, and that it speaks to her strengths of helping people to find home.
