Tighten drag knob and rinse under low pressure tap water in upright position

Tighten cast control cap and star drag before washing

Rinse well under low pressure water

Use a toothbrush to brush handle area, line roller area and drag knob

Spin reel in fast rotation to channel excess water out

Use a dry cloth to wipe down reel exterior

Use an air duster to spray difficult access area/ joints to clear off excess water

Use a tube brush to brush reel seat and line guide to ensure salt removal

Spin the reel in fast rotation to channel excess water out

Remove drag knob and wipe off excessive water on spool and rotor area

Screw back drag knob and leave it in a cool dry place

• Remove line after deep sea fishing to wash down spool or if intending to keep for long time storage • Avoid placing your reel on boat side rod holders when boat is traveling to prevent splashes of sea water • Put 1-2 drops of oil on main shaft, line roller, handle knob bearings, drive gear bearings and screws after 2-3 times usage • Send for servicing every six months if the reel is being used frequently

• Rinse your reel when drag knob is loose • Remove handle when washing • Use high pressure water to wash down your reel • Wash your reel in an upside down position • Soak reel in a bucket of fresh water • Place your reel under direct sunlight after washing

Cover socket with rubber socket cap Quick run through of low pressure water on screen (not more than 3 seconds) Rinse the spool area for removal of remaining salt

Engage clutch and pull out 2-3 meter of line whle running low pressure water

Use a toothbrush to brush the handle shank and handle knob area

Use a tube brush to brush small accessible area (reel seat, line guide area) to ensure removal of remaining salt

Use a wet cloth to wipe down the whole reel to ensure remaining salt and bait is removed

Use a dry cloth to wipe down completely

Use an air duster to spray difficult access areas to clear off water droplets

• Wash your reel with warm water (undre 30 cegrees Celcius) • Detergent can be used if stubborn stains can not be removed • Wash your rwwl after every trip • Remove line after deep sea fishing to wash down spool or if intending to keep for long time storage • Avoid placing your reel on boat side rod holders when boat is traveling to prevent splashes of sea water

Loosen star drag and leave in a dry, cool place

• Wash the screen for too long as water might penetrate • Wash the reel when the motor is still hot • Use chemicals like gasoline, kerosene, benzene to wash down reel as ot will damage the coating • Wash your reel when the socket is not covered • Wash when star drag and cast control is not tightened • Dip or soak the whole reel into a bucket of fresh water • Use high pressure water to wash down your electric reel • Place your reel under direct sunlight after washing
