Visually and strategically defined by rolling mounds and deep, gorgeous bunkers, Black Bear truly is a special course. When played early in the morning or late in the afternoon it’s even more spectacular as the rising and setting sun illuminates The Bear’s rolling hills and undulating greens. “Play this course at just the right time of day and it can be inspiring,” Horton said.
