Swing Consistency Tips Many golfers have nice swing capabilities, but the problem most golfers have is their consistency. Keeping your golf swings consistent is an important part of learning how to golf, so how can you gain more consistency in your swings? There are a couple different ways to improve your swing and your consistency, let’s take a look at a few tips that can help you improve your game:
Grip Make sure you are not gripping the club in the palms of your hands but in your fingers. Aim Position yourself so that you are parallel to the target line and aim the club towards the target. Form When extended, the club and the way you stand should form a triangle. Backswing When moving for the backswing, all of your body (shoulders, arms, and hands) should move at the same time. Keep the triangle form. Cock your right elbow at the top of your backswing and make sure the club is squared off.
Downswing For the downswing, point your club at the ball and try to keep your club in the same plane during the swing. Tempo Creating your own beat or rhythm or tempo can really help your overall swing. Keeping that rhythm fluid and smooth as you swing will help you to practice other parts of the swing as well. Finish Finish the swing by following through with the swing and by shifting and putting most of your weight on your front foot. Tools/Aids Other ways you can improve your swing and your constancy are to use tools and aids.
