Designed and established in 1935 by six times Open champion, Harry Vardon, Looe Golf Club is set in an area of breath-taking beauty. It is a Heath and Parkland Course commanding panoramic views of the Cornish coast and countryside. The 18-hole course measuring 5,940 yards is constructed around Bindown, which is one of the highest points in Cornwall, and as a result has some truly spectacular views. To the east are the peaks of Dartmoor and the Tamar Estuary, to the south, Looe Island and the Channel, to the west and north, glorious countryside and Cornish moors.

It provides an excellent test of golf for all abilities from beginners to established golfers. Visitors are always welcome at Looe and can be assured of a testing round of golf, with the wind playing a major role in whether you have a good round or not. On completion of your round, retreat to Harry’s Bar to enjoy a drink whilst you dissect your game with fellow golfers; or why not stop for a meal prepared by our in-house catering team?

The Clubhouse offers great comfort and a welcoming atmosphere to socialise and relax. The bar is well stocked with a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits as well as a choice of non-alcoholic beverages. Hot and cold food is served daily seven days a week. You can enjoy a selection of snacks at the bar or dine in our restaurant serving delicious daily specials and full threecourse meals.

Looe Golf Club has the enviable reputation of being one of the friendliest clubs in the southwest, so come and visit and see for yourself, we very much look forward to welcoming you.
