The Priory Course at Breadsall Priory Marriott Hotel & Country Club opened in 1977 and offers some of the best golf in Derbyshire. The 6094 yards on The Moorland and 6027 yards on The Priory play a lot more as you wind through steeply undulating parkland around the hotel. There is a premium on accuracy on the Priory as you play through tree-lined fairways to small undulating greens. The Moorland golf course was designed by Donald Steel and opened for play in 1991. Despite being located on the same piece of land as its sister course, The Moorland is a complete contrast and offers a very different round of golf. The course is more open and exposed to the elements, offering spectacular views of the Derbyshire countryside.
