The Friends of Wood Memorial Library & Museum are excited to announce that their Annual Gingerbread House Festival will be coming back for its 10th Year! The Wood is committed to keeping this “can’t miss” community event available to the public during the festive holiday season and has partnered with The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk to provide a safe environment for patrons to enjoy the gingerbread house display. The festival opens the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, December 27, 2020, and runs through Sunday, January 3, 2021, providing a safe and enjoyable holiday event for the whole family. Join us for a fun evening of holiday festivities on Saturday, December 5th at 6:30 pm for our annual holiday Torchlight Parade. The Torchlight parade includes many holiday-lighted vehicles and marchers who will progress through the town center in all its lights, music and fanciful decorations! Grab a spot near the street to watch the brightly decorated fire trucks parade by in their holiday glory.
