The wrapping forms curve and support each other expressing connectivity, strength and reliability. We will continue to develop this web site to ultimately include all the tools that you may need to order product, track deliveries and connect with the team at head office. hard shells It’s the modern adventurers suit of armour, their outermost layer and weapon of defence – the invaluable hard shell is insurance that the day won’t end when the weather breaks. Waterproof, breathable, windproof, lightweight, durable; these are all key elements that define the difference between a good hard shell and a brilliant hard shell. Ensuring your mid and base layers remain dry is imperative; however this is more than simply keeping rain out. The high breathability of a hard shell is what helps disperse moisture vapour (sweat) out of the jacket maintaining dryness when active. Creating a level of comfort that only a goanywhere, do-everything hard shell can achieve.

tritec 3 LAYER Three layers of protection is why Gondwana Tritec 3 Layer fabric is our hero for the high end adventurer. With an incredibly effective 10,000mm waterproof and 10,000mvp breathable TPU membrane, it will keep you dry and comfortable in the most drenching conditions. This, matched with our very high Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, is why Tritec is a trusted product, relied upon by those who like to hit the tracks less travelled. DWR, is a renewable layer of defence that ensures the water which settles on the surface of the fabric will bead away and not soak in. Not only does this mean you are kept dry and protected from the weather through keeping the beaded water out of the micropores of the jackets membrane, but it also ensures the breathability of the fabric is kept true. The Gondwana DWR finish is extremely durable, and will withstand up to 20+ washes. Tritec 3 Layer is a strong contender against the hardest of weather patterns, but is also very soft to touch, quiet to wear, lightweight, and incredibly tough due to its rip stop construction.

tritec 2 LAYER Fog on the ascent, light peeking through the ferns and a moody threat of grey above - Tritec 2 Layer, a dependable two layers of protection, can handle it all! Made from a lightweight and durable Nylon fabric which has a high performance laminated membrane, Tritec 2 Layer delivers 8,000 mm waterproof and 5,000mvp breathable performance, giving greater weather resistance and internal comfort to the wearer. Through the lamination process, the fabric has gained a higher consistency of membrane coverage, resulting in a much more even and dependable performance outcome. The lamination has also enhanced the life span of the garments waterproof and breathable function. The result is a reliable waterproof and windproof jacket that is soft to touch and super quiet to wear, meaning you get to experience more out of the outdoors by not being weighed down and noisy!
