What is BRIDGE? The Summer BRIDGE pre-orientation program is designed to assist first generation students and students of multicultural backgrounds in making a smooth transition to Gonzaga University and the greater Spokane community. This program introduces students to specific faculty, staff, and campus resources that will prepare them for their academic journey. Participants will engage in various team building activities that will help establish lasting relationships. The program gives students a head start in creating a solid foundation of support; a family away from home. Throughout the school year, there are many activities and events that continue the theme of BRIDGE and aim to keep students connected— BRIDGE Reunion, L.E.A.D.S. Mentoring, BRIDGE End-of-the-Year Celebration.
