As you read this letter, the 2022-2023 academic year has come to its completion. During the past several weeks, the members of the Class of 2023 played their last games of the spring season, took their final exams, and then enjoyed a long round of thank yous and goodbyes that culminated in their Commencement Exercises in St. Aloysius Church on Sunday, June 4.

Every year on graduation day, I am reminded of why our work in the Alumni and Advancement Office is so crucial to the mission on Eye Street. Every dollar that you invest into Gonzaga goes directly towards enhancing the student experience for our young men – supporting everything from tuition assistance and extracurricular and retreat opportunities to maintaining our unique urban campus and compensating and retaining our educators. Gonzaga’s youngest alumni, the graduates of the Class of 2023, are ready to make their impact in the world, thanks in no small part to your generous support.

As I watched this year’s graduation, I couldn’t help but think ahead to future generations who will wear the white tuxes one day. Because of your incredible generosity to the Forever Gonzaga Bicentennial Campaign, we were able to – in just a few short years – triple our endowment. As a result, Gonzaga is now stronger than ever and in a position to provide resources year in and year out to support school operations; to update our campus; and, most importantly, to provide tuition assistance to any young man who earns his spot as an Eagle, but whose family would not otherwise be able to afford to send him here.

I am profoundly grateful to all of you who made this possible by supporting the Forever Gonzaga Bicentennial Campaign, which officially concluded on May 15. Due to the campaign’s emphasis on significantly growing our endowment, your generosity will have a ripple effect on future Gonzaga students for generations to come.

In this publication, which we call the Printer’s Proof, we recognize the many benefactors who have shared their philanthropy into life on Eye Street thus far this fiscal year (July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023). The listing on the pages that follow reflects gifts that were made between July 1, 2022 and May 10, 2023. The names listed here, as well as those who make a gift between now and June 30, will be included in the Annual Honor Roll of Donors this fall. You’re welcome to share your gift by clicking on this link.

Thank you for your loyalty and generosity to Gonzaga College High School. Please call or email me anytime, and please help Gonzaga close out the fiscal year with your support.

Sincerely Yours,

David Dugan ’98 Senior Vice President of Alumni & Advancement Cell: 202.412.0584
