A Groundbreaking Partnership

In May of 2019, Gonzaga announced a new partnership with Georgetown University whereby the university would lease the old “tennis court” lot adjacent to Buchanan Field for the construction of student housing. The arrangement will provide a dedicated, long-term revenue stream to Gonzaga that will help service the debt on the school’s parking garage and other capital projects, as well as support scholarships and other school priorities.

While construction won’t be completed for some time, crews broke ground on the new building in September. The renderings below offer an exciting glimpse of what’s to come.
