You Have A Purpose
by Elisea Messer
Some kids believe they’re unloved. They believe no one on this planet loves them. They think God hates them, they think their parents hate them, and they think they’re unlikeable. If you are one of those kids, read this. It might just help you. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” This verse can help you because it tells you that God loves you unconditionally, and if you believe in Him, then you will have your best life and live in Heaven. God didn’t put you in this world so you could be depressed or feel unloved; He put you in this world for a purpose. Find that purpose and help someone else.

God put you in this world so you could live your best life. He also put you in this world so you could fulfill your plan. That plan is to spread God’s word so people don’t feel like they have no purpose, like you. If you truly believe in God, pray each day, read the Bible, and fulfill your plan; you will feel much better in life. God loves you unconditionally, and so do your parents/guardians, siblings, and your entire family! You are loved no matter if you think it or not; someone loves you.
8 // April 2020 All in all, remember John 3:16, and actually repeat that Scripture when you’re going through a time when you feel depressed or unloved. You can also go to your family, spend time with them, and talk to them. Trust me: you’ll feel better. You can also read the Bible and talk to God. One last thing, write down good things that happened to you that made you feel loved inside. Use that for when you’re feeling unloved or
depressed, and read those happy things. It’s a proven fact that journalism helps relax the mind. Use all those things when you feel unloved or depressed. It will help, I promise.
