The Vintage One of the most dramatic and important changes you can make to your decor is new wallcoverings. More than 15 years of decorative and design experience are applied to every single sheet of handpainted wallcovering that leaves our studio. It is the perfect combination of color and contrast to create finishes that will fit into any project you have in mind. A new application of wallcoverings can take any room from dull and boring to vibrant and alive. Our expectation is that you will find working with us to be a pleasurable experience. Our hope is that our wallcoverings will become the inspiration of your deco.
Installation Instructions and Aftercare for The Vintage Before you cut and hang, please be sure you have : 1. The correct wallcoverings and the correct amount of wallcoverings to finish the job. 2. Inspect the wallcoverings carefully to ensure it is free of defects: If no defect is evident before installation, the material should be inspected after three (3) square meters are installed. If any defect is evident at this time (or at any point in the installation) no additional material should be hung until Goodrich Global is notified. 3. NO CLAIMS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR MORE THAN (3) SQUARE METERS ON THE WALL. All claims must be made within 60 days of the invoice date. No labor claims will be allowed at any time.
WALL PREPARATION : 1. The walls to be covered must be properly prepared to ensure that the wallcoverings will adhere to the wall surface. Even the strongest adhesive can only work when the wall surface is clean and properly prepared. 2. Goodrich Global recommends that installers use a hard, acrylic, pigmented, wall-protecting primer that is SPECIFICALLY made for WALLCOVERING INSTALLATION and WALL PROTECTION. 3. Allow the primer to dry thoroughly before hanging.
ADHESIVE : 1. Premium clear adhesive WA-288 is highly recommended by Goodrich Global for ALL types and weights of fabric-backed and non-woven wallcoverings. Specification of WA-288 • Exclusively distributed by Goodrich Global • Non-hazardous vegetable adhesive from the U.S.A. • All components are approved by the U.S. EPA • LEED compliant (may contribute to IEQ Credit 4.1 & 1.5) • Includes bactericide and mildewcide • Dry strippable with fabric-backed wallcoverings • Zero VOC (≤5 grams/liter)
AFTER CARE 1. Stain can be removed when immediately wiped off with a clean sponge. Use a mild detergent to clean the wallcoverings. Do not use solvent based cleaning agents, lacquer thinner and nail cleaning agents that contain bleach. They may cause discoloration over a period of time. Do not soak. 2. Avoid excess rubbing or pressure so as not to damage the finish.
HANGING : 1. There are different installation methods for this collection. Besides non-woven, it is necessary to overlap the pattern slightly. We recommend to end above the door or a low visibility area just in case the pattern needs to be altered. It is important to note that due to the handpainting process, some paneling and color variation may occur on finished applications. Extra wallcovering is necessary due to the overlap and cutting involved during application. Installation Methods

2. Installation tips for different applications :
Non-Woven
Non-Woven Collection is intended for full panel installation or can be cut into blocks or rectangles. We recommend overlapping and double cutting all panel applications. Also, installing panels floor to ceiling, trimming is necessary.
Torn Application
Start by tearing the pieces into various sizes being careful not to rip them too small. Do not tear all of the pieces until you know the sizes that you want to work with. Do not use straight edge pieces in the middle of the wall. Applying the paper in a random pattern will avoid a directional or cascading effect along the wall.
Random Block (Asymmetric)
Be careful not to cut too many blocks or you may run out of large sizes. Drawing a “+” several times on the wall, will help keep the blocks straight.
Block (Symmetric / Rectangle)
If you are going to apply the blocks or rectangles like bricks then you would start around the ceiling line and work down the wall in horizontal rows. Make sure you line up the edges or your pattern could become skewed. Please find the center of your most visible wall and start there by drawing a plumb line as a point of reference for your first row.
Blocks on Point
Draw a plumb line down the center of the wall and begin hanging a complete row, ceiling to floor, lining the points up on the plumb line. We recommend starting at the ceiling due to the fact that the papers will stretch slighty when wet and it looks better to end the application along the baseboard of the room. The papers will not rebound to their original size after drying. After the first row is complete go to the top of the wall and start working down the wall in approximately 4 square foot sections.
