Encircling embrace

London is her home and it is also where she grew up and later studied. After having had a career as a teacher and then as a psychotherapist she pursued a diploma course in ceramics at the City Lit. Then later, worked for some years as a ceramicist, experimenting with a range of approaches. Wishing to develop a more personal voice she decided to pursue further studies, at Kingston School of Art before undertaking the MA at the Royal College of Art 2018- 2020.

The sculptures were made using a slab building technique. But instead of creating slabs by rolling out clay, she threw discs on the wheel and added circular markings. The expressive loops of clay are characteristic of her sculptures and were made using an extruder.
