REINCE PRIEBUS CHAIRMAN OF THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE THURSDAY
Originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, Reince Priebus was elected chairman of the Republican National Committee on January 14, 2011. He was subsequently reelected in 2013 and in 2015. In total, Priebus has served three terms, making him the longestserving chairman in modern history. Before his tenure at the committee, Priebus worked his way up through the ranks of the Republican Party of Wisconsin. He served as the 1st Congressional District Chairman, State Party Treasurer, First Vice Chair, and eventually the State Party Chairman. In 2009, Priebus served as General Counsel to the RNC, a role in which he volunteered his time to help manage the RNC’s most difficult challenges. Link to official website
