If you’re looking for a good ski resort to go to, look no further than the ones in Switzerland. Because of the famous Swiss Alps, you’ve got myriad options to choose from! Below are some of the best ski resorts in Switzerland.

Zermatt This resort is the most well-known ski resort in all of Switzerland. Even though it’s pricey, you definitely get the bang for your buck if you can afford it! There are incredible restaurants situated all over the mountain, where you can get everything from Swiss cheese fondue to yummy sweets to satisfy your appetite. Not only that, but everyone on every skill level can have fun here. Younger kids can learn to ski on the nursery slopes, and expert skiers have limitless choices to ski. Not only that, but there are incredible shopping options down in town, with après ski options at the famous Papperla Pub! There’s definitely something for everyone here.

If you’re looking for a more technical freeriding terrain, look no further! Verbier is part of the 4 Vallées, giving you over 250 miles of runs to try out. While it’s more suited for advanced skiers, with its craggy chutes, cliff drops, and steep pitches, don’t be afraid! If you’re an adventurous intermediate skier, you’ll definitely find your place here. Unfortunately, there’s not much in the way of beginner slopes, and the towns nearby aren’t anything to write home about.

St. Moritz Whether you’re a daredevil looking for World-Cup quality terrain or a more casual skier looking to carve up some powder, St. Moritz is the place for you. Not only that, but a number of winter sports also find their home here! The lake is an incredible place for everything from ice skating and curling to even horse racing and cricket! And if you’re looking for after-skiing fun, you can go to the Segantini museum, casino, or designer boutiques that are available on Via Serlas. While it is a higher price, St. Moritz is the place to be if you want to experience a diverse winter sports resort.

Parsenn Linked with Davos Klosters, Parsenn is definitely the place that holds everything together. With five mountains accounting for 167 miles of slopes, Parsenn has the biggest and most varied skiing terrain. Unfortunately, with such a popular ski resort comes the drawbacks, specifically the crowds that can build up around Parsennhütte station, where runs end and lifts start. If you’re on a vacation with family, you’ll be hard-pressed to find something more family-friendly than Madrisa, a place with gentler slopes and more sun, giving you everything you need for a fun, relaxing ski day.
