Environmental Sustainability As an environment-driven company, Gorenje has been committed to environmental sustainability from the very beginning. Green Production Whilst complying with the most stringent environmental protection standards (ISO14001 and EMAS), Gorenje is continually monitoring the energy consumption of all appliances and reducing volume of waste generated during production process. In 1993, Gorenje was among the first in Europe to abandon the use of ecologically hazardous refrigerants and propellants whilst in 1998, the brand introduced the environmental friendly powder varnish coating into cooking appliances, followed by the technology of dust enamel coating two years later.

In addition, many of Gorenje appliances are created with outstanding innovations so that they are more energy-efficient than others in the market. All Gorenje refrigerators have a rating of A++ for energy performance, thereby saving up to 25% of energy that is needed. Also, our dishwashers offer the most environmentally friendly way to clean dishes without wasting too much water. Touch control The control panel of the cooker hood is a breakthrough in easeof-use. Easily select the desired extraction power as well as other hood functions with a simple touch of a button.

Silent operation The advanced perimetric suction system shifts the suction zone from the central part of the cooker hood to the outer edges for an improved, faster and more concentrated suction whilst significantly reducing energy consumption as well as noise level.

Perfect light The LED lights provide excellent lighting over the cooking surface during cooking and subtlely add an aesthetic touch to your kitchen. Compared to conventional light bulbs, LED lights are better and closer to natural light, the consumption of power is also lower and its life-time is up to three times longer.

Special user-interfaces A new generation of control panels is designed to assure instant access to all vital functions and all crucial information about cooking.

HomeChef Touch the glass or slide your finger across the glass panel to access the simple menu and select your favourite recipes. The HomeChef oven provides more responsive, faster and user-friendly control that enables smooth and instant modification of settings and oven functions via an interactive colour TFT display. It also provides 30 language choices so that you can change the language of the menu display for additional convenience.

Dot Matrix The newly introduced dot matrix display features a simple user-interface with a central knob to achieve a sleek oven appearance. Start the oven with the touch control on the panel and navigate through the oven menu and adjust the weight, cooking time, browning levels, etc with the knob. The central knob is professionally designed to meet ergonomic needs, it ensures perfect grip, high comfort whilst maintaining an elegant look of the oven.

IconTouch IconTouch interface is equipped with 2 knobs on the side and a touch panel in the middle. The knob on the left is used to select the heating modes which are displayed on screen. Other oven settings and cooking parameters such as temperature, cooking time, alarm, can be chosen using the knob on the right.

Induction hob will react to a pan or cookware placed on the cooking surface. When the zone is switched on, a symbol »U« is displayed, the cooking zone will then start to operate as set. If the pan is smaller than the activated heat zone, the hob will adjust the output to the size of the pan, using only the amount of power required for that particular piece of cookware!

When the cooking zone is still hot, the residual heat symbol H will light up in the display, indicating that the zones should not be touched. Residual heat can be used to keep food warm, or for slow melting – without using any additional energy.

This safety function is to protect the hob from prolonged use. The duration of continuous use and amount of radiation of these heaters are limited. In order to improve safety and lengthen the useful life of the hob, the switch-off function will activate automatically when appliance is operated for a certain period of time.

The overheat protection feature provides additional protection to the induction hob. In case of escalation in cooking temperature, a two-level fan is automatically engaged. If situation is not resolved, PowerBoost function, if activated, is deactivated. If the temperature is still too high, power level of some cooking zones will be decreased. In the worst circumstances, all cooking zones will be switched off.

Once switched on, the hob speedily supplies power up to the desired level. When the level is reached, the power is then reduced to a sufficient level just enough to maintain the temperature. This function prevents boiling over or prolonged boiling when itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s not necessary.

ChildLock option is excellent for users who have children at home. You can lock the entire hob, or lock your current settings so that your children will be safe from uncontrolled operation.

Stability control Every item receives same treatment Stability control system ensures the laundry is distributed evenly inside the drum. If the system detects a distribution imbalance of the laundry load, the drum will stop rotating so that the clothes can be redistributed again.

Motor overheating protection Overheat control Excessive loading may cause damage or overheating of motor. To prevent this from happening, the motors in Gorenjeâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s washing machines are fitted with mechanical overheating protection. When the motor starts overheating, the protection system shuts down the motor immediately to prevent further damages.

All Gorenje dryers with a heat pump have very high energy classes, even up to A+++, which saves 63% more energy than class A. We are particularly proud of our dryer with A+++ energy class and 9kg drying capacity. This combination of features makes it unique on the market. We succeeded in reaching such high efficiency by optimising a regular heat pump, which was a great step forward. All the

parts of this system (heat exchangers, compressor, motor) were designed to support a large amount of laundry and the most spacious drum on the market, with 120l volume. In addition, we used wider air channels for fast and efficient drying, without regard to such large capacity. The heat pump also provides more gentle drying than conventional drying system, at 50Ë&#x161;C, the temperature which is optimal for the laundry and prevents overdrying.

Equipped with the most efficient filtering system which provides a more efficient air filtering than conventional system.
