Anchored by Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the ATL airport area is a rapidly evolving mix of diverse communities that surround the airport. Each city, unique to itself, providing vital resources and needs to not only the area residents but to the millions of people flying in and out of the airport each year and to all the businesses and their staff who help keep it all running.

East Point Downtown

Georgia Sports Park offers international quality soccer fields booked all year for games & tournaments. In Downtown East Point, you will find local cuisine, from fresh smoothies & southern classics to Caribbean & Raw Vegan dishes. East Point Farmers Market is a weekly market with seasonal produce, baked goods & handmade arts/crafts items. Races at Dick Lane Velodrome showcase the only Olympic-style cycling venue in the State!

Bustling with growth, the City of Hapeville is the epicenter of the resurgence for the Atlanta Airport area. The designated Main Street City is home to the original Chick-fil-A Dwarf House and Wells Fargo Processing Center. Hapeville is a walkable community, a little over two miles in size, that offers a charming historic downtown filled with restaurants, shopping, a train depot museum and a lively downtown park.

Hapeville is fast becoming known for its dedication to the arts, with a fabulous public art program, several unique art exhibits, and a performing arts center all located minutes from the airport. Numerous murals, butterfly sculptures, and artist gallery crawls help bring the city alive.

City of South Fulton held a grand reopening for the newly renovated world class South Fulton Tennis Center in November 2021. The center boasts 24 tennis courts (20 hard courts and 4 clay courts) with new surfacing, striping, poles, nets and other equipment. They have also added new pickleball courts and a full-service pro shop. The center plans to host professional, semiprofessional, collegiate and recreational tournaments plus provide instructional programs for area youth.

The City of South Fulton. . . “More Lives Here.” Forest Park is the largest city in Clayton County-home to the Atlanta State Farmers Market and Gillem Logistics Center (1,170+ acres & home to Kroger Co.’s new 1.2 million sq.ft. distribution facility). Comfortably located a little over 3 miles from Atlanta’s airport, it is revitalizing its Main Street with a multi-phase mixed use development to bring new residents and new jobs into the area.

Forest Park offers vast culinary choices with dishes from Vietnam, Korea, and the Americas (including truly Southern dining).
