Editor’s Desk Gospel 4 U believes in “One Mind, One Body and One Spirit”
Hello and Praise the Lord. Gospel 4 U Magazine would like to thank our viewers and well-wishers for all the love, prayers and support. With your help we are able to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Over the years we have built great relationships with so many people. I would like to thank CLC Bookstore for believing in Gospel 4 U Magazine and allowing us to be on the shelves of its stores. Speaking from a woman’s point of view, this issue is a very special one because I believe that Men are very important asset in the Kingdom. We are living in a time now where men need to “step up.” Men, it’s time to raise the standard and remind other men of their calling as God has intended it to be.
God has called men because they are the head and He has given them dominion over this Earth. These mighty men of God have decided to talk to you about relationships, leadership, being your brother’s keeper and more. If you have a son, a brother or a friend please reach out to them with a copy of this magazine. The decline in our young men can directly be tied to the breakdown of the family and men not fulfilling their roles. Each one build one! I pray that you will allow the Lord to minister to you through every word that was strategically written for you. Enjoy and be blessed!

WISDOM
Priorities before Promise By Pastor Larry Birchett, Jr.
If you were to poll everybody that you came into contact with over the next week as to what are the most important dates, events, times, financial obligations, and appointments on their schedule for the next week, you would essentially have all of the information necessary to figure out what the priorities are in their lives. The importance of the prior statement is that your priorities exemplify the desire of your heart and show what you “treasure”. Luke 12:34 ~ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. This promise is a dear one and hence your priorities lead to your promise. My question to you today, reader, is what are your priorities?
Furthermore, what do you treasure? The answer to these questions is most important because will determine who you really are, who you think you are, and whether you are focused and on track to fulfill God’s plan for your life. A priority is something regarded as more important than another, something that you’ll deal with before another. Some of us put money before God, relationships before God, our own selfish ambitions before God, and God isn’t pleased. Beloved, you will never reach your place of promise in God as long as you’re distracted. Get focused. Mathew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all of these things shall be added unto you.”
The Bible says 1 Timothy 3:5 (ESV) says, “For if someone doesn’t know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God’s church.” So why do we think that we can live defeated and busted lives and expect God to bless every thing that we put our hand to? It’s a rhetorical question because the answer is evident. Our focus is not really on God it is on us. We have become a self-absorbed society in the natural and the spiritual.
GOSPEL 4 U MAGAZINE March 2014
This is keeping us from living prosperous and blessed lives because we’re not trying to do it through Christ or God’s way. God spoke to the people of Israel in the book of Haggai regarding their state of mind. He said, “I know that you think that you’re not supposed to go all out for Me right now, but now is the time.” Consider Haggai 1:2-7 (KJV) 2 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the Lord's house should be built. 3 Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your ceiled houses, and this house lie waste? 5 Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. 6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. 7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. When God tells you to consider your ways, I would say that that’s not a good thing and that judgment is close. Whenever God tells you to consider your ways, He’s asking the question, “Do you have your priorities right.” The builders in Haggai’s day left their original purpose to build the temple and reverted back to working on their own houses. Your priorities lead to promise. You’re either going to receive God’s promises for your life or God’s promises for your life. Mahatma Gandhi said it well: “Actions express priorities.” If you want to have a closer relationship with God, your actions will demonstrate your desire. No one will have to tell you or force you to pray. You’ll simply pray more. No one will have to tell you to praise God and that He desires worship, because it will become a priority in your life. You are not where you need to be in God until you are putting Him before everything else. Yes, that means even before your beloved business. Even before your
beloved spouses. Even before the pleasures of the flesh beloved. Show God you love Him with your actions. As we you used to say on the street, don’t talk about it, be about it! Put God first. Exodus 20:3: “You shall have no other Gods before Me.” Make God, being in His service, and living a life pleasing to Him your primary goal in life. Verses 3-5 of Haggai it show us that the people failed to consider how their actions contradicted their faith. Stop putting your efforts/actions into things that are not important. Stop making people a priority that only look at you as an option. Do the right things, at the right time, for the right reasons. God told them twice in verses 5 and 7 to Consider your ways. And my exhortation to you dear one is to do the same, consider your ways. Focus on the big picture and make your priorities line up to God’s will for your life. If you forget the Ultimate you’ll be enslaved to the immediate! The Samaritans stopped the Israelites from doing what God instructed. Believe me, beloved, as soon as you are on the right track the enemy will bring strong delusions or excuses to make you quit and think about your immediate needs, but resist him and he shall flee. Finally, your promise is connected to your choice to make God and His Kingdom your priority. In verse 6 of Haggai chapter 1, God through the prophet Haggai, is explaining to His people that every thing that they build will continue to have “holes” in it because their priorities were to build their own houses instead of God’s house. Start tithing again beloved, with your finances, your time, and gifts. This is true worship because worship requires sacrifice. The key to prosperity of mind, body, and spirit in God is contained in your choices to make Him and His ways your priority. God bless you.

Q&A
J. Nichole Exclusive Interview G4U: Thank you so much J. Nichole, we do appreciate you giving Gospel 4 U Magazine the opportunity to interview you. We are so excited and I know that our readers will be blessed. J. Nichole: Yay, me too. G4U: It’s a blessing to have you on and just to let you know I did go to your Facebook page and I was able to download and listen to your music. You have such a beautiful voice. J. Nichole: Thank you so much. I am blessed and it’s a honor and I’m thanking you for taking the time to talk to me today about my journey, as I like to call it. Thank you so much. It’s a blessing and a honor for me as well. G4U: Amen, I know that your music is very encouraging and uplifting. So tell me about your faith. And when did you come to receive Christ as your personal Savior? J. Nichole: Oh wow, I received the Lord as my Savior when I was 11 1/2 years old, and I got saved. I had always known about God. My Mother introduced me to the Lord. I knew then that I wanted everlasting relationship to live forever and to accept that
Jesus Christ died for our sins. I wanted that unconditional love. My sister and I accepted Him at the same time, we are four years apart and I am the emotional child. I wear my feelings on my sleeve and I was crying when the Spirit hit me because I did not understand it. I said to my Mom, “Why am I crying.” She said, “That is the Anointing, The Holy Spirit.” My sister was laughing and my mom explained how the Spirit touches us in different ways, so my sister had a uncontrolled laugh, tears of Joy. G4U: Tell me about your mother? J. Nichole: I did not have the liberty of growing up with my father in my life. My mom was a single mom and for my sister and me, she was all we knew. My mother is a living testimony. She had brain tumor. She could not walk or talk. she suffered for years and did not know she had it. Her spinal cord was affected and was unable to walk. She ended up in a wheelchair and went to numerous doctors. She was not able to speak. They could not find anything wrong with her, and they guessed what they thought what was wrong. So she went to a specialist and the doctor told her she would not be able to walk and would be lucky if she could speak. As I watch her, my mother walks today! We always knew he was Jehovah Jireh our Provider, but in this case and I was able to see Him being The Healer. My mother is a part of this project.

G4U: Speaking of the project, tell me about your two singles you released?
G4U: I know that you talked about your Mom and you’re a single mom, so tell us about your children:
J. Nichole: My first Gospel Album, “In My Journey,” contains music I’ve been singing since I was 7 years old. For a very long time I ran from gospel music, it was prophesied to me twice that I was to win souls for Christ. I wanted to be a pop star, but my calling was to use my gifts and talents for the Lord. I felt though I was not a minister I had to live up to certain expectations and realized I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me. I released the first single in 2012 “Do you know Him” and in 2013 “Get your Spirit Up.” We go through a lot and it’s not easy, so this song was put out for when you are going thru something to keep your Spirit up and not let the enemy keep you down, because God is still in control. “Get your Spirit up” is contemporary and we wanted something up tempo. You can move and dance to it. We can have a good time in His Name. We get up out of our seats to focus on Him and not on our circumstances.
J. Nichole: I have two children. My mom calls my sister and I the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, so I use the same term for my children. My son and daughter love the Lord and I instill that in them. They see what I’ve gone thru and they see I stand on the Word. For Christmas, they asked for anointing oil and a new bible! My son is 12 and my daughter is 16. Its amazing that they would ask for that.
G4U: OK, great, Your newest single one is called “The WORD of God” what does that entail? J. Nichole: That one is based on my mother’s testimony. She literally stood on top of the Bible and exclaimed, “I’m standing on the Word and God you said stand on the Word.” The song is about how the Word of God to inspires and soothes your soul and lets your spirit rest. It’s our blueprint for life. it’s all the equipment we need in life for all we go through. The single will be released in March and we are shooting the video right now. G4U: What’s the name of the Album that is coming out? J. Nichole: It is called “No More Running” which is my testimony, because I ran from my calling for many years. I am in a good place and in a good relationship with Christ. “No More Running” will release this Spring towards the end of May. Our Mission is to help single mothers, like myself and my mother. Our whole ministry under our organization is called “My Spirit in Motion.” It’s designed for those that are less fortunate. We are also planning an “I am Victorious Tour.” It is geared towards women I call “ SMOGS,” Single Mothers on the Go.” We are trying to do as much as we can to let them know they are victorious and reminding them about God’s word and His promises so they can stand on His Word when they go through. My favorite Psalm is 34, “I will bless the Lord at all times, His Praise she continually be in my mouth.” There is power in our tongue. I want to let them know I have been down that road.
G4U: Wow! how beautiful they ask for that. J. Nichole: My mom kept Christ in our lives. She made sure we got the education that we needed, as well as values and morals. G4U: So tell me about the passion you have and why you do what you do? J. Nichole: Because I know that God is gonna get me if I don’t. (laughs) But seriously, I love to sing and I love the Lord so for me it’s just a double blessing. I enjoy the ride. God is the pilot and I’m sitting in the seat and I’m not in first class yet. I have a ways to go until he lets me sit up there. He is in control. I am enjoying the ride. I continue to let Him lead and direct my path. G4U: Awesome. So tell me about your name J. Nichole? J. Nichole: My name is Juliet Nichole Jones. Growing up, my family called me Julie and all my friends called me Jewels. I used Jewels when I was doing secular music and I did not want to use that name again. I never used Juliet since no one ever called me that. So I looked up Juliet and I looked up Nichole and they both mean Victorious. I never use my middle name for anything so I figure I will use my first initial and middle name so there it is: J. Nichole! G4U: So it’s almost like Paul’s Damascus Road experience, how his name was changed from Saul to Paul. J. Nichole: Yes. My mother almost named me Nichole but my father wanted me to have a first letter like his name, James. I did Impact TV with Dr. Bobby Jones and he kept calling me J. Nichols and at the end I said Dr. Jones my name is J. Nichole and we laughed. G4U: Is there anything else you would like our readers to know about you?

Eve ate from the tree first she had the knowledge before Adam. Their mindset has been altered more towards dealing with the physical realm as opposed to being in the spiritual realm. We were never created by God to know evil. When they were kicked out of the garden you see nothing in the scripture where you see Adam and Eve having the opportunity to discuss what went on in the garden. There evidently was a dispute between them. Apostle Coleman’s advice to singles who have the desire for marriage is that they should first have the desire of the Lord. “He or she who is single should have Christ at the forefront of their life. Rather than looking for the one, allow the spirit of God to prepare you to be the one. To be single means separate, whole and unique.” Apostle Coleman’s desire to fulfill destiny stresses the importance of having vision for our lives. “Vision helps connect us to our purpose and to our destiny. Without vision, we have no discipline, no organization, no structure.” Apostle Coleman’s life is a true reflection of having God’s blueprint for his life; overseeing eleven churches in the United States along with churches in Burundi, Ghana, India, Malawi, Nigeria, Philippines and Zimbabwe. During these tough economic times Apostle Coleman advises that God is the total source. “Many of us have our vision on hold because we only look at one side of life. What God has given us to do will carry us away from dependency on the system.” Traveling the world on his God-Given assignment to teach the gospel Apostle Coleman would like to leave a legacy of helping people and be known as a family man. “I don’t want to leave this life and it’s not said that I spent quantity and quality time with my family.” Apostle Coleman is living proof that you can live the abundant life that God has promised us all. Apostle Coleman studied at the New Life Bible Institute and Eastern Theological Seminary. In 1994, Apostle Coleman was elevated to office of Bishop by his spiritual father, Apostle Turner J. Nelson. In 1997 he received his doctorate of divinity from Trinity Bible College & Seminary.

INTEGRITY
A Reformation For Restoration By Bishop Dr. Michael A. Frith Chief Apostle
The church’s history has provided ample proof that whenever there was a move of God, it was almost always triggered by those who grew weary of the mundane, the humdrum, and the abuses and neglect of absolute truths. The state of our churches and its leaders in North America has caused the world to give second thought to our ability to preserve the faith and to earnestly contend for it. (Jude 3b) We need a Reformation that will restore biblical ideals and moral absolutes.

What was moral and hence we need to get back to and right two decades ago has become basics. archaic and irrelevant to this present
GOSPEL 4 U MAGAZINE March 2014
Why should the need to be relevant dictate to us its terms of relativity? We need to do away with so-called modern thinking that erodes sound judgment, scoffs at orthodox truths, and despises the Word of God. Our children must be given a fair chance to succeed under God. We, too, need a fighting chance to live out our God-given purpose and potential now, without the infringement of heretic modern theology and new-age ideologies dictating their views and philosophies to us. We need to be reminded of whose opinions, views, and ideals really matter. What we need is a post-modern reformation that will tip the scales of our lives and bring true balance back to the Kingdom of God. Martin Luther stands out as a prominent sixteenth century reformer, although other reformers such as Marcion, Montanus, and John Calvin cannot be overlooked in their role in Kingdom reformation and governance. Martin Luther, however, was mainly responsible for protesting the power and efficacy of the sale of indulgences to pay off papal dispensations for the bishops. This came to be known as The Ninety-Five Theses, which he nailed on the door of the Castle Church at Wittenberg, and became the catalyst for the Protestant movement. There is an urgent Kingdom cry for reform and restoration now. God is calling for and raising up modern-day reformers like Martin Luther. We need a reform that will change our lives, our churches, our society, and our constitution. The word “Reform” is defined as: to make better by removing abuses, altering, restoring to a better condition etc.; while the word “Restore” means: to bring back into existence, re-establish, to restore order, to bring back to a state of health, soundness, or vigor, to put back to a former place or position. The Hebrew word for restore is “shuwe” which means: to do again, recall, recompense,
recover, refresh and relieve, whereas the Greek word “apokstastasis” means: a complete restoration or re-establishment. The early church, with all the nuances of its freshness, enthusiasm and zeal, was said to have turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6). It could be contrasted with an end-time apostate church that would become lukewarm as it blended into the secular society and embraced worldly and extreme-liberal views. We are told in Acts 3:21; that the heavens must receive Jesus until the “restoration of all things.” We are also told that Elijah must first come and “restore all things” before the second advent of Christ (Matt. 7:11). The last of these things to be restored for Kingdom building is the apostolic office. It will work with the prophetic and five-fold ministries to restore order to God’s Kingdom and pave the way for the End Time Revival. We anticipate a Great Revival, a period that the apostle Peter refers to as a “time of refreshing,” or making fresh again (Acts 3:19). It is what Joel called the “pouring out of the Spirit,” or end-time-revival that would precede the second coming of Christ (Joel 2:28-32). I believe that in order to be a part of this great end-time revival we need true personal Reformation for Restoration. We also need to recognize the Kingdom gamechangers, and modern-day reformers, who God is raising up to re-establish His church. Hence, we anticipate a true move of God on the heels of a “reformed” believer and a “restored” and transformed church.

Do You Have That Ride or Die Faith? By Meredith Hammond
So many of us use the term “God is my Pilot” but don’t have the faith to let go of the wheel and allow Him to do what He has promised for your life. We say we believe Him for the vision He has set before us; but when it’s hard to see it with our physical eyes, our spiritual eyes get weary as well. Although you may be blinded from time to time, it is your job to hold on to the One at the wheel. It is at those times when what you see in front of you would believe God’s promise that you must put your chest into it and lean further into Him. Imagine being on a motorcycle as a passenger. When the rider leans to the left you lean to the left and when he leans right you do the same. That’s what this faith walk is all about. This is not the blind leading the blind. This is the Almighty leading His child.
Ride or Die Faith means Lord no matter what lies before me I know you will get me to my destination. It means that in the midst of the ride whatever may try and keep you from trusting you will die to it. Be it doubt, be it naysayers, you will turn you back to it as if it doesn’t exist and press your face into the moment of God and choose to exist there. It’s when you accept this mindset of Ride or Die Faith that you will experience a paradigm shift. No longer will doubt and fear ensnare you because your hardcore, no-nonsense faith will keep them at bay. You will find yourself boldly standing on God’s promises engulfed in faith and constantly existing in His moment of love.

7 Steps
To
For Men By Pastor Bernard Brown 1. Address Acknowledge the fact we as men need God! That our characters (habits and custom) are flawed and in need of a makeover, so then an acceptance of Christ is key. Psalm 51:5 (NIV) 2 Corinthians 5:17 2. Walking We as men should walk in the image of our creator (God). When people see us they should see Christ; His love, power, presence, passion, and provision. Ephesians 5:1-2 (NIV) 3. Purpose
Realizing that we were placed on earth for a purpose and our purpose is to do kingdom work. Our breakthrough will take place as we study the word of God and seek after knowledge and wisdom. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) 4. Endure Men, preserve through the hardships of life. We are soldiers of Jesus Christ therefore must put the whole Armor of God On; Understanding that the enemy will do whatever he can to try and defeat us. We must remember we must do all things through Christ that gives us strength. MY BROTHERS YOU ARE SOLDIERS! 2 Timothy 2:3-4 (KJV) 5. Believe Men of God, we will be challenged in our faith. Whatever distractions that we may face, remember faith is not what we see on the outside but it’s what we trust on the inside. We have been given the power to speak; call things that are not as they should be.
GOSPEL 4 U MAGAZINE March 2014
Obedience to God declares He will withhold no good thing from those who walk is blameless. Romans 4:17, Psalm 84:11 (NIV) 6 & 7 Prayer and Praise I purposely tied the last two steps together because we will never experience a complete breakthrough without prayer and praise. Men of God, always pray without ceasing. Prayer will keep us focused on our assignment. Praise will give us the energy to complete our mission. Sometimes life will tie our hands and the world will tie our feet, but don’t stop praying and praising because of the attack. It may feel like we’re in deep and cannot get out, but as the Bible teaches us, weeping may endureth for night but JOY cometh in the morning! Through prayer and praise, GOD WILL SHOW UP! Activate your Faith! Loosen and open doors to your future; the enemy mistake was that he didn’t lock up your mouth. My brother as long you have your vocal cords, you can pray and praise your way out of anything. NOW THAT’S A BREAKTHROUGH! Acts 16:22-26 (NIV)

in Psalm 31:5,"into thine hand I commit my spirit...," are similarly expressed in the New Testament by Stephen, while he was being stoned to death (Acts:7:59), and by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as He hung on the cross for our sins (Luke 23:46). The pronouncement, which was uttered during times of unimaginable rejection and pain, displayed exemplary faith in the One who will keep us, even in the midst of our suffering. Jesus and Stephen seized the time of their most intense agony to emphatically declare before heaven and earth that God Almighty keeps their souls, and it was in Him that they found their completion. The question of where we place our souls for completed care becomes important for married couples to ponder, since too many of us wrestle with the mistaken notion that our value, safety, and completion should come from our spouse alone. Misplaced and misguided dependence on a spouse is a sure recipe for disaster. It is brought to light when one or the other begins to acknowledge unmet needs that are accompanied by feelings of inadequacy and lorem ipsumindolor met set insignificance the marriage quam nunc parum relationship. During such times, we
2009
are tempted to look to our spouse for wholeness, not understanding that inappropriate expectations often remain unsatisfied and are likely to lead to painful disillusionment, simply because the demand exceeds the partner’s ability to deliver. We must always remember that our strong desire to be whole and healed can be satisfied only by Jesus Christ, and expecting our spouse to put our broken pieces back together will leave us disappointed and yearning for something more than we have. It would be neglectful to ignore the fact that every married person has typical longings for the mutual love, high regard, and respect that should flow bountifully in the marriage relationship. However, our fundamental and personal quests for value, completion, and significance cannot be satisfied by our spouse unless they are first met in our love relationship with Christ. It follows that no one can convince us of our worth until we first find it as the son/ daughter of the Most High God. We are valuable because we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God who calls us “His Masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works. . .” (Eph. 2:10), and we have significance because God ordains His purpose for our lives.
God is The Sovereign Creator over all and we find our worth in Him; therefore, unless we experience and are convinced of His love for us, and until we find security and wholeness in His provisions and promises, we are not likely to find enduring, high quality, and mutually satisfying marriage relationships. Having clarified our need to pursue Christ’s love as the solid foundation on which our self regard and marriage relationships are built, we then acknowledge that the love relationship between the husband and wife is of paramount importance and second only to that which we have with Christ. When our spouse needs an encouraging word, a shoulder on which to lean, and a chest on which to cry, we should be readily available to be used by God on their behalf. Ours are the nearby arms, hands, voices, and ears that God employs as physical manifestations of His loving provisions for our spouse. When we extend healthy and selfless love to our marriage partner, we show that indeed we have entrusted our souls to Christ and found wholeness in Him. Thus, without counting the cost, we who have received God’s healing love are free to be the dispensers of the same - LOVE.

Q&A Michelle Snow Exclusive Interview
Michelle Snow
Code: RPP - Relentless! Passionate! Powerful! That is the description of an encounter with Michelle Snow. I met this courageous woman many years ago. At the time, Michelle was known in her home town of Philadelphia as the gospel entertainment queen. Dezzie of Radio One, Stellar Winners The T.R.U.T.H. & Tye Tribbett, Jazz Artist David P. Stevens, R & B Legend “Vanity” (now known as Evangelist Denise Matthews) and many more all graced a Michelle Snow stage. Let’s go on a journey with Michelle Snow…
Joanna Birchett Michelle Snow, how are you? Thank you for joining me today. Can you tell our readers why you gave your company your name?
Michelle Snow As you know Joanna, my first name is Nakia. Michelle is my middle name. I’d never used Michelle professionally. Since I wanted to show my supporters that I had more to offer than just entertainment, it was symbolic for wanting to share a new part of me.
Joanna Birchett What do you want people to see today, that they did not see when you operated your first business Saved & Satisfied Ministries, Inc.?
Michelle Snow The organization Saved & Satisfied Ministries, Inc. was my training ground. God gave me the courage to birth leadership skills in my passion. My passion was always people and what
better way to serve than with bible based principles. From 1998 – 2002, our passion was to host exciting, clean events. BUT…We had a BIG Problem! We had no business purpose. God allowed me to see how he could use me to do extraordinary things with people, then…the doors were shut.
Joanna Birchett Wow! Every experience teaches us something, what did you learn from that experience?
Michelle Snow Michelle laughs wildly, Hah hah ha! Joanna, I learned What Not To Do! I was on fire with no knowledge. I learned that a plan without planning, and a passion without purpose are doomed. Joanna Birchett I know that is so true Michelle Snow, the Bible makes it clear, that where there is no vision the people perish, so I totally agree with you. What do you offer today?

Standing By Your Man As a pastor's wife, I have found
Prophetess Ayanna Moore is the wife of Pastor LJ Moore, the Relationship Mechanic, Senior Pastor of Empowerment LifeChanging Worship Center in Vineland, NJ
it can sometimes be a challenge to stand with your man. I wanted to briefly share some of the things I have learned to do so that no matter what comes when the smoke clears my husband is still standing and so am I am right alongside of him. 1) Have a relationship with God for yourself. It is important that as a couple you worship, pray, and get into the presence of the Lord as husband and wife, but it is also equally important that you have a relationship with the Lord and that you are able to hear the voice of the Lord. 2) Stand on what the Lord has shown or told you about your husband, your family, and ministry no matter how things may look. The enemy always comes and tries to tempt us to forget the words the Lord has told us and to focus on what we think or feel about a situation. If we allow thoughts and words that are contrary to what the Lord has said to keep going around in our mind pretty soon our words and actions will also become contrary to what the Lord has said. Faith is believing what God has said despite how things may look. 3) Be your husband's safe haven. Anyone who has experienced warfare knows it can be draining! Physically, mentally, and emotionally. As men they already go through a lot; as men of God they go through even more. They need a place where they can take off their armor, take off their superman clothes, and just be

By Prophetess Ayanna Moore themselves without worrying about sneak attacks coming from behind. They need to be comfortable telling us about their dreams, fears, and even failures without us using it against them. It is a perfect time to listen to his heart and to speak life to him when needed. 4) We are not called to be our husband's Holy Ghost. It is only by the spirit of God that people are truly transformed. It is not by us nagging or begging them to change. I had to learn that just because I see some of my husband's faults does not mean I am the one who is supposed to fix them. Sometimes, we see those things so we know what to pray about. I thought that I was helping by pointing out areas that I thought needed to be worked on. In actuality I was hurting him and our relationship more than I was helping. I've seen more lasting change in him,
and had more peace in prayer when I was lead of the Lord about what I needed to say, versus just saying whatever came to my mind. 5) Prayer. The things you want to say to your husband out of frustration say to the Lord first. Allow the Lord to minister to you so you can minister effectively to your husband. When disagreements happen prayer can allow the Holy Spirit to be the mediator. Prayer is the place where you can freely communicate with the Lord and request those changes you want to see in your husband to be made. Prayer is also the place the Lord can work on you; the Lord can continue to change what needs to be changed about you and give you the strength to stand. I believe if you would put these 5 suggestions in to practice you will see a positive shift in your relationship!

Suffering is Part of the Process By Bishop - Elect Dionne Butts Job 40:12, “So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life, even more than in the beginning.” (NLT)
As I sat in an adoption seminar, the facilitator began to tell the
Bishop-Designate Dionne Butts is the Senior Pastor of New Beginnings Evangelistic Outreach Ministries and Greater Restoration Worship Center, located at 401 Walnut Street Morristown PA 19403 For booking and speaking engagements please forward all requests to: ladybutts40@gmail.com
participants that the children who are being adopted must receive counseling on grief and loss. They need to deal with the pain of separation from their natural mother, siblings, extended family and friends. We all agreed that this process is painful, but necessary for the intended person to move forward. The facilitator said, “Suffering is part of the process.” Suffering is part of what process? Better not bitter! I immediately thought about Job. He struggled to understand the suffering in his life. He was considered an upright man, and just in all his ways. Yet God allowed struggles, suffering, and adversity to knock on his door. Job lost his children, his health, and his wealth. He knew what grief and loss tasted like. He smelled the bitter fruit of sickness in his body and the burden of losing everything. He could identify with pain and suffering. Job asked God, “What have I done to deserve this?” Many of you who have lost a loved one, received an unfavorable doctor’s report, or lost a job, ask the same question unto the Father and fall into the trap of self-pity and self-righteousness. Beloved, let me encourage you on today. Suffering can be, but is not always, a direct result of anything you have done wrong. C. S. Lewis wrote, “God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” We serve a God who reigns on the just and the unjust alike. In the same way, prosperity is not always the bread for being or doing well. Because God loves us, trials may come on all sides. But you can be confident knowing that trouble doesn’t last, and that God has a purpose and plan for your life. It is through suffering that God is shaping your thoughts towards Him. God is doing surgery on your spirit, so you can discover just who God is. In fact, you should celebrate God. Suffering is the trampoline of faith. It takes you from faith to faith and glory to glory. The bible declared in the 40th chapter of Job v.12, “So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life, even more than in the beginning.” (NLT) In other words, although the suffering process did not feel good, it made him better understand God and not feel bitter towards God. Job knew God on another level. He knew him as sovereign, omnipotent, and wise God. He knew Him as the restorer of the soul. For the bible declares, “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.” Heb. 11:6 (ESV, 2001)
