DERMA ADVANCED AESTHETICS IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER In order to grow my team and services I needed more space, I added in a larger reception area and a second treatment room. As I am a qualified nurse I knew that skin treatments. Janette is a level 3 trained beauty therapist and is working towards her level 4 qualifications. As well as expanding my team I have also invested heavily in training and the latest technology, allowing us to offer new treatments to clients. We now can do Cryolipotherapy or “fat freezing” as it’s often called, it is proving to be popular for shifting those lockdown pounds. We have also invested in a Picosecond Laser to remove all colours of tattoos, not just the standard black and red. This makes us the only clinic in Teesside able to offer this service at present.

Derma Advanced Aesthetics owner, Sophie Peacock wanted to turn lockdown into a positive opportunity. Choosing to use the time to step back and re-evaluate her business. Sophie gives Gossip the update on what she had been working on during lockdown.

Over the last few months we have also been undertaking a rigorous assessment process which has resulted in our clinic becoming accredited with Save Face, a government approved register of clinicians. Save Face is accredited by Professional Standards Authority and is recognised by The Department of Health, NHS England and The Care Quality Commission. Clinics on the register have been assessed and approved as practicing safely in a clean and safe environment, with up to date insurance, training and qualifications, products sourced from reputable pharmacies and up to date policies and procedures in place.
