Accommodation
Enjoy our green grounds dotted with fruit trees or swim in our very own swimming pool. Compete in our new Gymnasium. Let your creativity run free in our 3 story Technology suite. Perform magnificently in our Performing Arts rooms. Kick a ball around our football fields and hit a ball on our tennis courts. Our Chapel is a quiet zone for contemplation.
We are 20 minutes by car to the central city and 40 minutes by train or bus. We are only 20 minutes from fabulous swimming beaches and 25 minutes away from Auckland’s TOP SURF beach. Auckland is surrounded by the sea so you can participate in many beach activities.

Extra curricular opportunities
Pre-Teaching /Au Pair Programme
Outdoor Education and Leadership Programme
Come for a1-2year course to experience child care studies . Take an Early Childhood and Education class to experience working with children. You will explore Child Psychology, pedagogy and learn specific English along the way.
St Dominic’s College offers an exciting opportunity for students to join interesting co-curricular programmes such as horse riding, choirs, Ethnic choirs, orchestra, rock band, jazz band, dance shows and competitions, musical productions, cultural groups
We offer a very special Pathways course which will allow you to work in a Child Care Centre for 1 day a week and study with Tertiary students. Acceptance to this course is carefully monitored.
We offer numerous sporting opportunities such as football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, swimming, water polo and many more We can also offer a Football coaching course with the New Zealand Football Association. You can play sports at St Dominic’s College for fun and socially or at a high competitive level.
Pre-Medicine Programme Exciting 1-2 year course offered for students who wish to have a career in Healthcare—doctor, nurse, radiologist, researcher, laboratory technician, physiotherapist, disability or age carers, to name a few. Very limited International student places in the programme
Take Healthcare pathway in Level 2 as 1 subject
1 day per week training in selected Healthcare Institutions as a Tertiary student
English test prior to acceptance of course
You will gain an E-portfolio to demonstrate experiences and training for future study in your own country.
If you do not qualify for the Pathways course, we can still offer you Health and Biology programmes
Join this successful course for adventure, friendship and fun. We can offer you many activities in Adventure tourism.
