The prisoner re-entry initiative (2004): Under this government grant ex felons get funded for four year period time with 300 million minimum. This grant is used to support things like job monitoring, counseling placement and other things. The grant is used to help felons get back into the society.

• The second chance (2008): This grant program is funded by the civil right group, law enforcement, prison advocacy groups, and religious organization that collaborate together to provide some 326 million dollars or more to support rehabilitation program for the ex-convicts.
