WESTERN UNDERGRADUATE EXCHANGE ( WUE) SCHOL ARSHIP AWARD DETAILS • WUE recipients will be assessed 150% of the resident tuition each semester they meet the criteria. • The WUE scholarship is only offered for Fall and Spring semesters. • WUE will only be offered for up to ten semesters, or until you receive your bachelor’s degree, whichever is sooner. REQUIREMENTS • You must enroll for and earn 15 credit hours each semester you receive the WUE. • You must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA for each semester you receive the WUE. • You must be enrolled in an eligible WUE degree program. Non-eligible degree programs are Global Aviation, Culinary Arts, Dental Hygiene, Nursing, High School Concurrent Enrollment, Integrated Studies, Personal Interest, and English Language Learning (ELL). RENEWAL CRITERIA • WUE will be automatically renewed each year, as long as the requirements are met. • If you do not attend for two consecutive semesters, then a new Scholarship Opportunity Application must be completed.

FRESHMAN NON-RESIDENT WAIVER SCHOL ARSHIP AWARD DETAILS • The Nonresident Waiver is only a two semester award, and cannot be renewed. • The Nonresident Waiver pays the nonresident portion of tuition up to 18 credit hours. You will owe resident tuition, all general student fees, and any other fees associated with your coursework. • Only offered Fall and Spring and must be used for two consecutive semesters, with the exclusion of Summer. • The time spent in Utah, while receiving a Non-resident Waiver, counts towards establishing residency for tuition purposes. REQUIREMENTS • Must have a 3.3 cumulative unweighted GPA. • Must have a 24 ACT or a 1180 SAT. • You must enroll for and earn 12 credit hours each semester you receive the No-resident Waiver. • You must be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen. • F-1 Visa International Students are not eligible. (Please visit uvu. edu/iss/scholarships/ for more information.) • Must not be in the Global Aviation, ELL, or any Off Budget degree programs. SECOND SEMESTER REQUIREMENTS • Must have a 3.2 cumulative GPA. • You must earn 12 credits each semester you receive the Non-resident Waiver.
