Coffee T a b l e R e c y c l i n g
Throwing away a piece of wood as beautiful in colour and in grain as Iroko would be a huge waste. Because of this I decided to clean up and fix the wood so I could make it into a coffee table.
S t e e l Making of the frame I really enjoyed taking a piece of steel 50 mill box section and manufactured it into a frame a and legs so as to make the base of my coffeetable.
Iroko
R e m a s t e r Remastering the Iroko was a very tricky but exciting task. It was increadibly satisfying, however, taking it from being an old and unusable surface into a brand new fresh and oiled material.
Upcycled Lamp S u s t a i n a b i l i t y
The simple, yet elegant pages of a book should not be wasted no matter its age or condition. That was why I decided to upcycle one into a pendant light.
Paper
F o l d i n g As a lover of reading the thought of letting an old book that is falling appart at the spine is an increadible waste. because of this I wated to find a way to keep this elegant and beautifully coloured paper and fold it into a pendant lamp shape.

Brighton is an area that I love to photograph and visit when I can. The buildings, sea and fairground activities are beautiful to look at so i decided to take the aspects that i love of the area and create my own appliqued piece incorporating the beauty of the seaside city.

As an avid reader I decided to design it around the pasttime in such a way as to create a piece of furniture that is transportable. This allows the user to take the donkey and their current reading material and any other amenities that they may need around with them wherever they wish to sit.
Detailing A closer look at the piece These images show the details of my final Donkey prototype from the spherical feet, curved edges and simplistic straight lines.
