CELLAR
MISSION STATEMENT
Cellar is a bi-annual publication offering an eclectic mix of places, people and fashion. Cellar does not dictate to the reader but provides a new and different perspective, dissecting each issue’s subject down to it’s core. Challenging the traditional magazine format, Cellar’s desire is to take the reader on a journey of exploration through our stories and editorials.

the reader
✤
The Cellar reader is looking for a magazine that does more than just dictates what to wear – one that emerges them into a visual journey and inspires them through fashion. They are confident with a strong sense of their own style and have interests that lay outside of fashion, art, literature, music, travel; and are interested in exploring these areas in depth.

Magazine cont ent •
Each issue of Cellar will focus on a particular theme,
•
- “On the Road”
•
- “Escapism”
•
- “Connections”
•
- “Happy Mistakes/Accidents”
•
- “Collections”
•
The Magazine will be created through a series of editorials including still life, observations on the street, and fashion stories. It will also consist of interviews, reviews of exhibitions, literature and music. Each issue will include a variety of photographic content, from simple location photography to fashion editorials, showcasing a variety of style and artwork. For future issues we would love to potentially have guest curators, whether it be a designer, artist or photographer, and work with them to create an issue really showcasing a different perspective on their issue’s topic, and the different artists they would gather to help do so.
